Trump White House: Upholding 2nd Amendment Part of Supporting Law Enforcement
breitbart ^

A statement posted to WhiteHouse.gov makes clear the Trump administration’s position that upholding the Second Amendment is part of supporting law enforcement. Under the heading, “Stand Up for Our Law Enforcement Community,” the statement says:

One of the fundamental rights of every American is to live in a safe community. A Trump Administration will empower our law enforcement officers to do their jobs and keep our streets free of crime and violence. The Trump Administration will be a law and order administration. President Trump will honor our men and women in uniform and will support their mission of protecting the public. The dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America is wrong. The Trump Administration will end it.

A latter portion of the statement turns to the important role armed citizens play in law and order:

Supporting law enforcement means supporting our citizens’ ability to protect themselves. We will uphold Americans’ Second Amendment rights at every level of our judicial system.

Four phrases that motivate patriots:

— law and order
— Second Amendment
— “The dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America is wrong.”
— “Supporting law enforcement means supporting our citizens’ ability to
protect themselves. We will uphold Americans’ Second Amendment rights at
every level of our judicial system.

Toward that end, how about eliminating half the anti-gun “laws?”

Amen, bro! You are your own first responder. The police, at best, are second responders.

If he wishes to help us out, many of us in California are suffering from unconstitutional gun laws due to the recent AW ban implemented. Backdoor registration is also being done as we are required to have background check on ammo in 2018 prior to purchase, which will identify the firearms possessed based on the purchased caliber.

We need help in CA also by changing it to a ‘shall issue’ state. We cannot get concealed permits here without having a gun to our head first by a thug, which the chances of survival are slim to none.

Just eliminate 18USC 922 (o) and Chapter 4 of the 1968 GCA and watch liberal heads EXPLODE (as I go to the FN factory and order an FN M240 and M203).

There are several positive things President Trump can do without legislative action:

Pistol, loaded, extra mag, on the nightstand. Standing in the corner two feet away behind the curtain is the 12 gage, fully loaded with double O buckshot.

This guy is good, but he’s not a gun loving guy. He’s a New Yorker, and the 2nd amendment isn’t his passion.

He’s not bad, but I’ve been studying this man since “Art of the Deal”.

All he has to do is give us SCOTUS justices. Leave the rest to us. But I would like to see these EO.

He is keeping promises and fighting the libs better than any president in my lifetime, which is a long one.

I loved Reagan but he always told us to wait. We couldn’t do it all at once. So he got his economic package passed, lost 26 seats in 1982 and the senate in 1986. He was great, one of the greatest, but his patience allowed the Democrats to fight back and create a gigantic sh*tshow by the end of his term, fighting Bork, Iran-Contra hearings, etc...

So I give Trump full credit. He’s a different breed, whether he’s a one hundred percent conservative or not.

“Waiting to hear from some of the #NeverTrump FReepers who claimed Trump wasn’t a “real conservative”.”

i was thinking the same thing!

In particular, I remember how the #NeverTrump FReepers pretended that Trump was anti-gun.

And let us not forget the #NeverTrumpers at large railing against Trump for not being a True Conservative™, not just a few FReeper trolls who are now long gone: President Trump is BY FAR the most conservative President in 75 years, including Ronald Reagan.

Eric and Don Jr. are big gun guys.

They hunt out west, and during the period just before the Iowa caucus, the media showed Don Jr. and Eric blasting away at a gun range in Iowa.

During the fall campaign, Don Jr. visited a gun store and range here in Maine.

And, our president himself has a conceal carry permit in NYC; not easy to get one, but is should be.
