I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!

I hope there will be some serious pressure put on the GOP bosses in states with open primaries. That insanity needs to end.

In my state there is no requirement to prove citizenship. You just self declare.

That would be silly.
If Trump is going to do vote fraud investigations, he should target ‘swing states’ not stats that conservatives can never win.

This investigation will open some eyes. We have ongoing cases of voter fraud in Upstate NY and people have been convicted - it’s not a figment of anyone’s imagination like Lindsey Graham (who I despise) or the media’s.

Bring it on - warning to Dems, better start the shredding.

“What DJT did is masterful. In response to DJT’s claim, the liberal nasties actually demanded that there be proof behind DJT’s claim. So now he’s going to get in there and take some control of the process of registering and voting in out-of-control places.”

I posted yesterday that I didn’t understand the motives behind the media harping on the “voter fraud” meme during the press conference, and then later on Fox News. It was like throwing a softball right down the middle of Trump’s plate for him to come in and say “voter fraud? Okay! Let’s do something about that” ... and they SHOULD, otherwise you can bet the RATS are going to cheat in new and unheard of ways in the next election because they are going to do everything possible (legal or not) to make sure they regain power.

What do you mean "can never win". I hate this kind of defeatism. That's half the problem in my opinion. How many times did people here say during the campaign that Pennsylvania was "fool's gold" and that a Republican could never win there?

How about poking a nose in to those Philly precincts that had more votes than people living in the precinct?

I’m all in favor of getting rid of voting-by-mail (unless someone’s out of the country) and early voting. If you’re too lazy that you can’t get to the voting booth on election day, you shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

Instead of relying on the States, what about a FEDERAL Voter ID Law for elections involving Federal Offices (i.e. President, Vice President U.S Senate and U.S. House of Representatives). It would seem to me that a federal Law for Federal Offices would pass the Constitutional Test.

I hope that ya’ll and Trump will look at this case that is strong enough to go to court in Texas. This is how the vote was changed using the Electronic voting machines in Austin (Travis County)

Here is the whole case laid out with the TX codes that were not being followed by law.

Is there a mechanism to remove a voter from the rolls when he moves to another state?

Not in Massachusetts. I left that state three years ago and when my son goes to my old precinct to vote, he still sees my name (as well as my wife) on the check-in sheet.

We registered in CT within a week of moving here so obviously CT and MA don't talk to each other. I'm thinking there are millions of people who are registered in more than one place - not necessarily out of intent of those people to commit voter fraud but out of negligence of town officials to keep their rolls clean and purge them of people who moved away or died. This of course makes it easy for corrupt election officials to "stuff ballots" for those they know will not be coming to vote that day (either they moved away or they are dead).

My solution to this problem is that the rolls get wiped clean after every election and every voter must personally re-register at their precinct every election cycle, proving that they are a citizen and that their primary residence is in that precinct. Yes, it's going to be a pain in the neck for many of us but it will bring a lot of integrity to the process.

From the past:

January 14, 2012: Florida investigation reveals 180,000 non-citizens may be registered to vote

Florida officials have discovered that 180,000 registered voters may be non-citizens.

A CBS4/Miami Herald analysis of information supplied by Miami-Dade shows a large number of the potential non-citizens voters cast ballots in the past — including the 2000 election, when the presidency was decided by just over 500 votes.

[snip]

According to the Heritage Foundation’s Hans Von Spakovsky, Florida’s investigation is only looking at legal immigrants, not illegal aliens, who may have registered to vote even though they are not citizens. Von Spakovsky, a former member of the Federal Elections Commission, says that Florida is doing the right thing with this investigation, but is only scratching the surface. Florida can’t check for illegal aliens who registered to vote because the Federal government is not giving Florida access to Immigration and Naturalization Service records which would help identify illegals who have registered to vote.

From the past:

October 2, 2012: True The Vote Announces New Finding Of Voter Fraud In OH, NY, FL, RI (Absentee Ballot)

True The Vote found more than 19,000 Ohio voters claiming Florida mailing addresses, according to state records. More than 6,390 people hold registrations in both states. True The Vote identified 534 individuals allegedly casting ballots in both Ohio and Florida. Today 34 cases were turned over to federal and state authorities.

“To his credit, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has indicated he is taking steps to address the situation with respect to voter roll maintenance,” Engelbrecht said. “However, these findings are particularly troubling given Ohio’s wholesale approach to dispensing absentee ballots for all this year. ...The last thing we want is a repeat of the 2000 Election – this time by mail.”

New York & Florida

True The Vote offers new findings of absentee voter fraud between New York and Florida. Citing a new sample of less than one (1) percent of upstate New York voters, TTV found 48,630 voters claiming Florida mailing addresses. Of that sample, more than 19,000 are registered to vote in both states. Today federal and state officials were alerted to 32 new cases of interstate fraud between the Empire and Sunshine States.

Rhode Island & Florida

True The Vote also reports instances of voter fraud between Rhode Island and Florida. After the comprehensive cross-reference process, TTV found 53 Rhode Island voters claimed Florida addresses. More than 15 are currently registered in both states, with two (2) having voted.

Federal and state laws were potentially violated as a result of these activities. Ohio, New York, Rhode Island and Florida each require voters to cast ballots corresponding with their permanent residential addresses. Federal law, specifically 42 U.S.C. § 1973i(e) clearly states that voters cannot cast more than one ballot in the same election.
