President Trump had just returned to the White House on Saturday from his final inauguration event, a tranquil interfaith prayer service, when the flashes of anger began to build.

I believe nothing that the Compost, NySlimes or ABCNNBCBS put out as news about Trump!

You can add the WSJ to the above.

I stopped subscribing to the WSJ over a decade ago. I scan the local library’s copy every week or so while my wife is getting her 5-7 books to read for that week.

The WSJ’s frontpage this week looked like a Compost/Slimes co authored hit piece with bs and imaginary fake news. I never got to a chair and table with it. A scan of the front page told me more than I wanted to know.

Rule 1 When mole is suspected, don't blab there is a suspected mole.

Kellyanne said yesterday on Hannity that there is a mole in the group.

"Mole! Bloody mole! We aren't supposed to talk about the bloody mole, but there's a bloody mole winking me in the face. I want to c-u-u-t it off, ch-o-o-p it off, and make guacamole."

How would WaPo know?

The question we need to ask whenever a hit piece comes out from the left wing media is to ask your question!

Well, I am listening to Rush (as usual), so although I have my TV on - it’s muted - so I wouldn’t have heard any of this issue.

Thanks.

The one thing that all these libs get wrong (and probably purposely) is that Trump fights back because he can’t take criticism...that he’s thin-skinned. They’re trying to label Trump this way so he will be like every other Republican...afraid to fight back. In fact watching these press briefings it’s certain people in the media who are thin-skinned. They can’t believe that anyone would DARE to question their narrative. GO TRUMP GO!

Amen!

I am not going to click on Wa Po garbage anymore or comment on threads from them. I hope many others will join me.

Never click on the Compost, Ny Slimes or LaLaza Slimes.

Trump has many enemies within the bowels of the WH that he will have to weed out.

DC always leaks. Look at what just came out about the gag order with the EPA.

There are many that will try to undermine him.

It is going to be a long exhausting process battling everyone coming at him..but he battled to get to the WH. He knows what he is up against.

If she did say there was or might be a mole, it could be completely a ruse, to get the media all distracted by trying to figure it out. LOL

WaPo must first build eight continuous years of credibility before I’ll strive to take any mainline media story at face value.

You forgot the /sarc tag, although probably in this case it was not needed. That said, we have a lot of concern trolls running around Free Republic these days. They tend to be largely immune to sarcasm...

I don't click on WaPoo links. Do the authors name their source? If not this story is a lie or there is a mole. In which case, it shouldn't be too hard to smoke the source out.

As far as I'm concerned, WaPoo itself is an unverifiable source.

Reading anything coming from WaPo is a waste of electrons but the comment section is a good indicator of where the 'rats heads are and it's chaos x 10.
This piece is nothing more than red meat, purely for the readership.

This could develop into a bad habit. My bride catches me snickerin' under my breath all the time.

A couple of things come to mind:

The inauguration: Trumps supporters were probably reluctant to drive the 200 or so miles, fight through Washington traffic, find a parking place, run the gauntlet of thugs waiting for them, stand in the rain for a glimpse of the proceedings. Those who did attend comported themselves with dignity and respect.

Perhaps Trump was angry; I was. After an eight year blizzard of lies the media again assumes it’s mantle of objectivity, skepticism and indignation at any decision, nominee or statement coming from this administration.

Trump will bring them to heel; it’s a simple thing to do, like teaching pigeons to perch on your arm with peanuts.
Party invitations and exclusives, strategically dispensed and withdrawn will do the trick. He will have to throw a few parties.

In the meantime he has to stay in the attack mode, none of that genteel inattention or “reluctance to dignify that statement” business. That sinks every Republican who’s ever conducted business that way. That’s why I’m skeptical that any of this was fueled by emotion; I think it was to a large extent a rational decision on their part.

As for Kushner: if he doesn’t straighten out, Trump won’t hesitate to boot him out—if my impression of him is correct.

Final thought: are we sure they swept those offices for bugs?
