  I read the article but couldn't find any reference to the exact number of illegals who voted. Surely, the New York Times has an exact accounting of the precise number of illegals voting. How do they know that Trump is wrong? Why do they think Obama flooded the country with illegal aliens? Certainly, the New York Times wouldn't just make stuff up. It's just those bloggers who must be fact checked!

I would argue that we need to comb through their articles and respond and rebuff them. I have done that before many times. Don’t just allow the articles to stand without criticism. This is currently the most prominent NYT article being shoved around by the anti-Trump media right now.

Oh, shoot, this is an easy lie to disprove. First, let's count the number of states that actually require proof of ID to register. Now, add in those states that require proof of ID which would identify citizenship to vote, then subtract states that permit open vote by mail without providing the slightest amount of identification and you'll have a probable number of illegal votes.

So, umm, Trump's likely right. Or maybe he's wrong. The actual issue is that WE CAN'T TELL. Now, if a newspaper actually got the voting records (including vote by mail) and actually investigated to find out how many of those voters were not citizens (say through a FIOA request from the White House for green cards issued by the Obama administration to children of illegals), they could actually prove or disprove Trump's statement.

Gosh, can you imagine a drive by media outlet doing that?

I did a fairly small amount of snooping around online and found PLENTY to be suspicious about. Nope...blown off immediately by the lamestream media. Nothing to see here, folks; move along.
