Howdy! Do you have dreams of FL every night as you shiver from the cold and damp? I sure would! LOL!
Hope you and Penny had a good weekend!
Of COURSE y’all would! LOL!
What it really boiled down to was I didn’t have time to type your names in and get it posted before one of you did. :-)
Just hit refresh, LUV, to get the whole page to come up. That’s what I’ve been doing all night. I have a sinking feeling FR will disappear again soon, the way it’s acting.
That’s what I have to do sometimes, too. You snooze, you lose! LOL!
I have that same feeling. Hope it’s not tomorrow night! Yeesh!
A southern fella and grew up on a farm. Good stock you come from. :-)
At the moment I can’t remember how many “greats” are in front of it but an ancestor on Dad’s side of the family fought in the Civil War. Dad had his dress sword and scabbard and I’d hoped to inherit it one day. My brother got it though. Drat!
It startled me to see it was up already and went for it. I’ve snoozed through too many of ‘em. LOL
Yep, it’s looking a little iffy, isn’t it? maybe it’ll smooth back out and we can all have fun tomorrow night. Have you picked out the quiz yet?
I haven’t. Someone sent me one, but I could never get the link to work...so back to the drawing board. All mine seem to have to do with food. Maybe I’m hungry when I go searching? LOL!
The story of German POWs in Mississippi is interesting. http://www.mshistorynow.mdah.ms.gov/articles/233/german-prisoners-of-war-in-mississippi-1943-1946
We met a woman in Jamaica whose father had been there. The ex-POWs knew they had been treated well.
You’ll find something good, as usual. Food works! LOL
I don't know if you saw these pictures, but Dad Berry chased off a juvie today...twice! It was something to see, and I did get to see the 2nd incounter on the live cam. This is from their FB page. A lady was on site and captured amazing shots. |
WOW! Gorgeous shot she got! I imagine it’s the same gal who’s gotten other fabulous photos at that nest.
Money says that was one of their earlier offspring return home to say “Hi, Mom and Dad.” LOL
That’s what everyone was speculating. Dad wasn’t impressed with his visit, though! LOL!
Dad sure wasn’t happy about it.
“Be gone, kiddo! I raised you to be self-sufficient so don’t come around looking for a free meal!” LOL
🎶 "And doncha come back no mo', no mo'!" 🎶
Good for Dad. Didn’t leave those precious eggs unattended.
Maybe the juvie got the hint and won’t be back. We don’t want Dad to get mad enough to hurt it.
No we don’t. He/she was a beautiful specimen and should grow and mature and have eaglets of its own!
Yes, that was a good-looking young bird.
Did you see the Latvian eagles a few minutes ago? They made an early morning visit to the nest.
You can roll back the video on that cam to see them. :-)
Rats! I forgot to...again! Been watching a TV show online! LOL! I’ll go peek and see if they’re still around......
......aaaaaaand they aren’t! Next time, I guess!
You can roll the video back to see them. LOL! They showed up again right after my last post too.
I’m glad to see it finally warmed up and melted most of the snow. Doesn’t look nearly as frigid now.
No it doesn’t look like the Arctic Circle now. I like the greenery in the nest. I always forget about rolling it back. Of course, that makes it “not-live” cam. LOL!
Boy, was it snowing in “The Hole” as my DIL calls their new home.
