“We can be gracious.”
I would like to think that was true. It’s been true in the past and might be again. But for now graciousness has gotten us Mitt Romney (a gracious man) denounced as a criminal by Harry Reid (a despicable piece of garbage) on the floor of the Senate and NOBODY from the Dem/Left/Media side said boo about it. And that is just one, flagrant, example; as I’m sure you know there are scores more that come immediately to mind.
I’m done with graciousness, let the other side start then perhaps I’ll join in. But I’m Irish, so I really can live without it without any regrets.
Of course I don’t mean to be ungracious to you, and I hope you don’t think I have been.
I’m Irish too, so no offense taken.
When it comes to personal tragedy, you know how we roll. Doesn’t mean that when it comes to the horse hockey these idiots have been perpetrating for the last 100 years, I would heartily agree.
Graciousness in the face of a loss of family, in my tradition, has ever been appropriate.
Here’s to you! Slainte!
