Every manufacturing job created begets probably 2 or 3 service jobs.

Imagine when someone figures out there's a big cheap pool of labor in inner cities....talk about transforming the nation.

I wish it were that easy. Far too many in that pool are unemployable; they lack skills, education, work ethic and basic socialization. I would love to see that pool tapped and converted into employed and productive people. But it will take a sea change in culture to do it.

The jobs that are coming require an intellect beyond the educational capacity of the inner city unemployables.

Then there is drug abuse and alcohol abuse and attitude

There is really no hope and no solution beyond an earthquake or a nuke

That will work only if the EBT culture and the resistance to education as "acting white" can be changed.
