The Clintons are hatching a plan for their comeback
NY Post ^ | January 23, 2017 | Daniel Halper

The Clintons are already plotting their comeback, a new report details.

Hillary Clinton is looking for a path to return to the political fray, as both she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, examine how the former secretary of state suffered the most surprising, epic political defeat in recent memory, Politico reports.

“[D]espite the grave disappointment, resilience is in the Clintons’ DNA. So, while I certainly don’t expect to see them trying to assert their authority, I think there will be natural and welcome opportunities for them to engage,” said Mack McLarty, Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff.

Hillary Clinton is receiving briefings from her former campaign manager, Robby Mook, explaining what went wrong in the 2016 presidential race, while Bill Clinton has been blasting FBI Director James Comey for interfering in the election.

Neither is expected to seek public office again. But both are now expected to be involved in Democratic politics for years to come.

“...resilience is the clintoons’ DNA...” That should read that the clintoons’ DNA is a mutant malignant strain that results in criminal psychopathy. These people are chronic liars and criminals.

Right you are! The Clintons need a vehicle in order to extort money from hopeful players.

It’s sort of like trying to rid your house of vermin. No matter how much you fumigate, you never quite get them all.

I’m not a fan of cliches but in the case of the Clintons one that needs to be dusted off is - a fish rots from the head.

I bet Obama forsaw this, and since he wants to be Kingmaker, that is why he ‘forgot’ to pardon Hillary.

This is just the Clintons putting out feelers, a finger in the wind, to measure the level of anger at them. They need to plug into a steady stream of political cash now that they don’t have CGI money.

The Clintons are in their own little hell....they have a sham marriage, but can’t act out on their instincts because of politics....they can’t enjoy life because they have no idea what that actually means.....they have no future in DC life because the American people just ripped that from their cold, greedy hands.... they are losing friends, cronies is a more accurate name, because they can’t funnel money to them anymore.

They are walking zombies or maybe more like mobsters who can’t enjoy the millions they stole because law enforcement sharks are swimming all around them (think US House hearings ... http://chaffetz.house.gov/ ...) , promising to
suck tens of millions of dollars in legal fees from their ill gotten retirement funds.

They need to keep their fingers in the pie because they have taken 100s of millions of dollars from some nasty characters. These players call the shots and they don't like it when their “investments” go bad. If the Clintons don't keep dancing they will end up like so many of their close associates over the years.

Using the metaphor of the week, they are down by two touchdowns and a field goal in the fourth quarter with only five minutes left on the clock.

And the other team is in possession, first and 10 on the 47.

Not an auspicious time to be planning an offensive drive.

The Clinton’s care about two things only. 1) Staying out of prison and 2)Figuring out how to repay those countries that gave the foundation money in their pay to play scheme.

Everything we are seeing and hearing from the media is noise to give the Clinton’s cover. Wait until the DOJ opens the foundation records to show who was paying the Clinton’s.

Resilience? lol. More like a demonic lust of power/money/status.

I wish Sessions would not have made the comment regarding recusing himself of a Clinton investigation and wish Trump hadn't played nice nice during the president's luncheon with the Clintons.

Time will tell.

Here’s a link to back up my previous comment:

Democratic donors call for Clinton campaign post-mortem
http://www.politico.com/story/2016/12/hillary-clinton-campaign-donors-post-mortem-232715

The call for a deep and detailed accounting of how Clinton lost a race that she and her donors were absolutely certain she’d win didn’t begin immediately after the election — there was too much shock over her defeat by Donald Trump, and overwhelming grief. Her initial conference call with top backers, which came just days after the outcome, focused primarily on FBI Director Jim Comey’s late campaign-season intervention.

But in the weeks since, the wealthy Democrats who helped pump over $1 billion into Clinton’s losing effort have been urging their local finance staffers, state party officials, and campaign aides to provide a more thorough explanation of what went wrong. With no dispassionate, centralized analysis of how Clinton failed so spectacularly, they insist, how can they be expected to keep contributing to the party?

“A lot of the bundlers and donors still are in shock and disbelief by what happened. They’re looking for some introspection and analysis about what really happened, what worked and what didn’t,” said Ken Martin, chairman of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and a top campaign bundler himself. “It may take some time to do that, but people are still just scratching their heads.”

Or, in the words of a Midwestern fundraiser who’s kept in touch with fellow donors, “A lot of people are saying, ‘I’m not putting another f**king dime in until someone tells me what just happened.’”
