Some gov’t organizations want to have their own intel operations so they can prioritize things their way and control analysis and distro. Granted, they don’t have the resources of some of the Big Guys, but it’s mostly for tactical intel anyway.

Twenty-Fifth Air Force
Intelligence and Security Command (Army)
Office of Naval Intelligence
Marine Corps Intelligence
Defense Intelligence Agency

focus on tactical, operational, and strategic MILITARY FORCE threats in their area of expertise. Their focus is NOT on the of the “fake news/disinformation” of the type behind the “17 agencies....” balderdash.
