Especially considering Mr. Buchanan’s presidential run, and his choice as VP from the Green Party (not to mention his preference for driving Mercedes— not that there’s anything wrong with that LOL). Sorry you miss the point that Communists, Bolsheviks, Mensheviks, National Socialists (as in the NSDAP— the Nazis of Weimar/WWII), Democratic Socialists (like the current German PM Merkel) were ALL Leftists- provably so... and still are. Sorry also that you miss the point that FDR, and Lindbergh and the Bund and the America Firster(s) (of that day’s definition) were all Socialists. Their generation produced generations of revering acolytes to socialism defined as the democrat party and wannabee repubs.
Conservatives have fought all forms of socialism and fascism for generations— because socialism and fascism in all shades of the political spectrum is theft- of capital and of personal freedom. The historical precedence is undeniable.
It is clear that Mr. Trump is trying to negotiate the abyss that is “inside the Beltway” and the “Beltway bandits” of the uni-party (which is by and large socialist by any measure- an elite group of trough feeding “rulers” who are scared stiff that the gravy train is being dismantled including the “free labor” amnesty immigration, and the muslim terror plague). Hopefully to bring back the America that was productive, independent, and sovereign— without world socialism eating us alive.
Never forget that Lenin and Stalin considered socialists as “useful idiots” clearing the way for statist/Communism.
