I know a couple, the wife is teacher union tied and the husband sells life insurance and he is so unhappy and beat down with her meanness and liberalism he seeks therapy and is medicated.

I’m not so sure they are lying. They may just be too dumb to grasp more then one thing at a time. They may just be so shallow they don’t understand. Their “specialized education” may not have given them reasoning skills

I’m of the opinion that a “column” has been cultivating and flourishing since we as a republic became so rich....it’s roots are old and deep. I consider it to be in many forms...McNamara turning the Viet Nam war into a profitable venture with a drafted Army that was just another statistic in deaths while the “MEDIA” showed body counts of the enemy and how we were winning that police action. As a child in elementary school I would see the news showing footage which led to the protests and woman’s movement and free love , all which has created divisions among those who fell for the claptrap. Purge these thieving and subversive males / females / contractors and prosecute and strip them of any ill gotten gains. It will be a painful and arduous process but you need to start somewhere ...Why did Bush Sr. start preaching a New World Order? Why did Clinton declassify what were top secret missile secrets and allow the Chinese to obtain such information? Why did Bush Jr. create Homeland security with totally unconstitutional rights to act against the citizenry?
The list is endless but when you erode a foundation a bit at a time it eventually crumbles...Greed/Fame/and whatever else you want to put here is simply a human trait that rears its ugly head far to often within government. Power corrupts , absolute power corrupts absolutely. Some people miss the beauty around us and feel anything can be purchased....empty dangerous souls all.

Oddly, I was thinking the same thing Friday about Chuck Todd and some others who chattered on during the inauguration. However, they aren’t all stupid.
I think Chuck Todd uses his snark to hide the fact he is shallow.
Hi Silverleaf. Sedition might explain what was puzzling me: why did Trump make CIA his first destination to visit? Clearly, the man he was at the start of the campaign is changed. You could see the gravity in his face as he became aware slowly of the magnitude of evil which exists in politics (vs. his business world.) He became more wary, more angry as time went on. I assumed the patriotic agents were sending good intelligence to him all along, e.g., exactly what is wrong with Hillary’s health and her prognosis.

Wow, any ordinary building would not need that number of columns, even in high seismic risk areas like San Francisco. That large number of closely spaced columns is there for other reasons...bomb-proofing? Stopping shooters? Preventing electronic eavesdropping? Disguising active counter-measures? What else?
