Conway to Chuck Todd: ‘We’re Going to Have to Rethink Our Relationship Here
Breitbart ^ | 01/22/17 | Pam Key

Posted on 01/22/2017 8:13:09 AM PST by Enlightened1

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” during a very contentious interview, President Donald Trump aide Kellyanne Conway told host Chuck Todd, “We’re going to have to rethink our relationship here,” if he continued to ask why press secretary Sean Spicer told a “falsehood,” about Trump’s inaugural crowd size.

Todd asked, “I’m curious why president trump chose yesterday to send out his press secretary to essentially litigate a provable falsehood when it comes to a small and petty thing like inaugural crowd size. my question to you is why do that.?

After her answer Todd again said, “You did not answer the question. Why did the president send out his press secretary who is not just the spokesperson for Donald Trump, he is also the spokesperson for all of America at times. He speaks for all of the country at times, why put him out there for the very first time in front of that podium to utter a provable falsehood? It’s a small thing, but the first time he confronts the public it’s a falsehood.”

Conway said “Chuck, if we’re going to keep referring to our press secretary in those types of terms, I think we are going to have to rethink our relationship here. I want a great open relationship with our press.”

Seriously? This is what NBC wants to talk about during the first interview after the inauguration? Crowd size estimates? And he want to extrapolate from that weak ‘fact’ to a Media talking-point?

If The Donald produces results vis-a-vis his campaign promises whatever the MSM chooses to say or do will be irrelevant and he can take them to the woodshed as often as he likes.

I think the Trump administration is making it abundantly clear that they are going to play hardball with the media.

Good.

The media is the primary cause of division within the country. They need it to sell ad space and TV spots. Trump is right to push back against the media narrative as hard as he can. CNN and MSNBC were the ones that brought forward the crowd size issue as a way to promote the idea that Obama was more legitimate than Trump.

Anyone remember ONE TIME the press used the term “holding him accountable’ when talking about Obama - any time in the last eight years?

I don’t remember hearing it ONCE. NOT ONCE.

It’s been said at least 10 times this morning - just mentioned again on Face the Nation... all the little journalists who didn’t give a damn about ‘holding Obama accountable’ are freaking out about holding Trump accountable - - and he’s only been President less than 72 hours.

The MSM has no idea how hateful they come across...

I don’t understand why Conway continues to go on the alphabet stations. It’s always the same crap from them.

Good to see the push back. About time for the press to start showing the same respect they showed the last one.

Report constantly on threats of violence against Trump supporters who go want to go to the inauguration, then report on lower crowd numbers

It would be interesting to know how many people wanted to attend but didn’t due the media constantly playing up the protest angle and the potential danger on the streets of DC due to rioting slobbering leftist sedition-mongers.

No, Not a word out of Chuck Foul’s mouth about the possibility O’ that

I really hope that Trump goes after the media monopoly with the legal and economic tools now at his disposal.
The fake news media does not represent the people’s interest. It is a corporate globalist oligopoly that is the tip of the spear for one world government. It disenfranchises the individual making it the very antithesis to democracy and individual rights.

NBC (and its bastard siblings) puts out six 'provable falsehoods' a new cycle.

Maybe Todd should address Brian Williams instead.
