It’s called political activism, President Trump.
Trump, on his second full day in office, criticized the efforts of participants in Saturday’s Women’s March held in Washington, D.C.
“Watched protests yesterday but was under the impression that we just had an election!” Trump wrote on Twitter Sunday. “Why didn't these people vote? Celebs hurt cause badly.”

There were 1,000’s of well meaning, reasonable people who glommed onto the splintered OWS movement at first, but then as the anarchists, race baiters, self appointed leftist celebrities and far left organizations took over, the ranks of the well meaning, reasonable people dwindled away.
It’s human nature to want to be part of a cause larger than yourself, but when the cause is not noble and is not clearly defined, the questions come.
I’ll bet that many who traveled to that event yesterday to hear Madonna, Judd and other self appointed celebrities spew lewd and profane rhetoric as well as to see many of the absolutely outrageous signs have woken up to the reality that maybe this is not the train they want to board.
I wouldn’t be concerned at all...remember- it was suburban woman in the rust belt who handed Trump the victory...
According to the article, Planned Parenthood was one of the sponsors. Donald Trump once said they did good work. I hope President Trump and his entourage will notice how PP chooses to use its influence.

They don’t talk policy. They object to Trmp as a person.
They say yesterday’s gatherings weren’t protests...when asked just what the hell it all was, they say to support women’s rights. But all the signs are personally against Trump...again, nothing about any of the policies.
I think it’s the last gasps, death throes of a socialist movement that believes they can and will sway opinions.
Because of the echo chamber, they do not perceive the disgust and steadfast opposition to them...in spite of the overwhelming electoral destruction the left has experienced over the lsat 7-8 years...capped by this awesome Trump win.
I guess it makes sense. A little like some of the first tea party demonstrations, it’s something to make them feel a little better about the fact that they JUST LOST EVERYTHING politically.
Whoopi Goldberg went on national television and said she would leave the country if Trump won. What an incentive. Of course people went out by the millions and voted for Trump. And she is still here.
It is easy, and it is SO MUCH FUN going to their sites...and as they try to console each other by saying that Trump is illegitimate and what not, I simply remind them that Trump now has a pen and a phone, and what his signs is the LAW OF THE LAND.
Nothing more fun that rubbing their noses in it.
I am completely in accord with your post. I have a friend - a wonderful woman - who participated in DC. She is a democrat of course. I told her I thought she was getting with the wrong crowd. After seeing the signs and hearing the vitriol I think she did get with the wrong crowd. She’s very bright so she sees it...but she won’t admit it.
Mrs Afterguard, my lovely wife, observed yesterday that if these women had done this after Obama took office in 2009 they would be labeled racists. She also observed that if there are so many women demonstrating why didn’t they vote for Hillary? Most probably didn’t vote at all.
I really hope they amp the Trump hate up to remind the American people why they elected him.

My cousin, the college professor, has been facebooking all day and night about how marching yesterday was “empowering” and “inspiring”.

Hehehehe.... I always remind them that this is the kind of behavior that has lost them local, state, and national seats for the last 7-8 years...

Who cares if it gets ugly. The left needs to be destroyed and protestors wearing vaginas on their head certainly will NOT instill fear in the right. This match must not be postponed.
The media asked and asked and asked them what their cause was and none could answer. Bunch of idiots out protesting just to be protesting. A male talking head from FOX kept bragging about his whole family including grandma and his little kids were there but never heard him say why they were there other than to be on tv. Hannity had it right that it wasn’t a family friendly event with all the filthy signage.
If only Madonna hadn’t used the word “thought” when blowing up the WH, she’d be in jail. Please, next time.
Ever since the leftist, liberal Democrat Party pushed legal abortion through the Supreme Court in 1973, I’ve wondered what the Democrat Party’s reasoning behind murdering American children could possibly be. I knew it was an attempt to capture the vote of American women, but what kind of woman were they after? Was it the women who were planning to get an abortion if they were to accidentally become pregnant, or was there something else involved? I’ve been observing these Democrat voting women now for over forty years, and I think I’ve finally identified who they are.
They’re not the women who plan to get an abortion if the occasion arises, they’re the women who have already received an abortion. As planned by Democrat strategists, once a woman has received an abortion, she knows in her heart she’s committed a mortal sin and is desperate for anyone in authority to reassure her she’s OK, and there’s no sin in killing your child. Once a woman has murdered her child, she is hooked forever and will continue to vote for those Democrats for as long as she lives simply because of their reassurance that she’s done nothing wrong. As there have been an estimated sixty million abortions performed in this country since 1973, the Democrat Party can depend on at least sixty million American women’s vote in every election.
