Donald Trump plans new deal for Britain as Theresa May becomes first foreign leader to meet new president since inauguration

Donald Trump is planning a new deal for Britain this week as Theresa May becomes the first foreign leader to meet him since the inauguration...

The new relationship - which comes with both countries redefining their roles in the world - is due to be cemented with a state visit for Mr Trump in the summer.

The US President’s team has made clear he wants a “full Monty” visit that will eclipse the trips of his predecessors in pomp and ceremony...

Mr Trump’s team was said to be considering a “passporting deal” which would allow British and American firms to set up and trade in each other’s countries with minimum regulatory hurdles...

Mrs May will offer support to Mr Trump in his demand that EU allies spend more on Nato and in the fight against Isil when she goes to Washington, according to numerous sources...

“There is a great opportunity for a trade deal with America. It would stiffen British resolve and show the Europeans ‘bloody hell the Brits can pull this off,” the source said.

Don't feel bad; neither do any of them!

They're all just angry because Trump won!

They were angry when the Bushes won
They were angry when Reagan won

And the old farts were angry when Nixon won.

Only the names change.

And lest ye forget, these protesters are the very same people that cheered when Margaret Thatcher passed away.

Great. Maybe they will make the terms public so we can see just how much we were getting screwed.

Trump breaking traditions again?

Wasn't Canada the first country, until, can't remember if it was Yeb!'s wife's brother-in-law or BHO that met with Mexico's leader first?

Sounds good to me as long as the passporting does not include those god rotting Muslims in England. Don’t want them here.

Local station interviewed one of the local protesters and why they were marching. She replied because “what happened”.

Sadly, from here in Britain I can sadly report that despite the fact the most Anglophile president since Ronald Reagan is now in the WH, most Brits my age and younger are crying over Obama leaving and Hillary not getting in. This is the same generation that voted remain and is still butthurt over us leaving the EU. The lack of patriotism is depressing and the fact we have an ally in Trump who won’t hang us out to dry alongside Brussels seems lost on these idiots.

As far as I could tell the most they could offer was a vague, progressive-inspired idea that Trump was "bad" and might do "bad things", and made them feel "uncomfortable".

But it looked like a lot of fun, marching round in the sun rather than working, doing outrageous things they will regret in years to come, frantically virtue-signalling by screaming man-hate with impunity. I'm sure they all had a great time.

These idiots don't ever feel regret, nor shame, vis-a-vis their moronic actions.

Neither do any of them understand that they are turning off vast swaths of the population; even some who agree with their unhappiness that President Trump was elected, but are more disgusted by the vulgar costumes and language used on the signs and in speeches.

This is true. They are not big on self-reflection.
