Brock is number 3 or 4 on the longest jail sentences list of Democrat Party corruptocrats.

He’s trying to create a power base to keep Trump from going after them.

David Brock is the epitome of what one does as a traitor to his country. Instead of working to make this presidency a success for he sake of his country, he is working to undermine that success. It is much like putting a bomb under the presidential limousine. In earlier times, Brock would have been arrested for subversion. I think this needs to be looked into.

I think those “donors” are going to be asked to “donate” something else, and it isn’t dollars. He’s not known as “Brock the Cock” for nothing.

Brock is currently at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, Fla. for a weekend conference with more than 100 major liberal donors.

A place with an interesting history I've come across in relation to other investigations:

Soffer Family

In 1967 real estate developer Donald Soffer bought a 785-acre tract of undeveloped swamp and marshland in Miami-Dade County, Florida; he built a mall, office buildings, and condo towers in what is now the town of Aventura. Now his son Jeffrey and daughter Jackie Soffer are co-CEOs of Turnberry Associates, the family's Aventura, Fl. Today Turnberry's biggest project, in partnership with the LeFraks real estate clan of New York, is turning a 183-acre former city dump site in North Miami into a community with 4,400 condos, shopping, a movie theater with table service, and two swimmable lagoons. The Soffers also own the swank Fontainebleau hotel in Miami, with a trendy nightclub and a Michael Mina restaurant. Their Aventura Mall is one of the higher-grossing shopping centers in the country, with sales of $1,642 per square foot. On tap: the Turnberry Ocean Club luxury condos in Sunny Isles Beach, not yet built but marketing two penthouses at $35 million a pop.

Gary Hart, Donna Rice, and the Real Monkey Business

"Cissie," unbeknownst to her, was most likely working on behalf of the CIA and their War With Drugs. Her associate Lynn Armandt was a procurer of hot babes at the Turnberry resort in Miami, which was awash in VIPs, spooks, and coke traffickers in the 80's. Regulars at the club included Meyer Lansky associate Don Aronow, who designed the cigarette boats preferred by drug smugglers. Aronow was a close friend of George H. W. Bush. Aronow was rubbed out in 1987 at the peak of Bush's transparently fraudulent War on Drugs (the day before he was to receive a subpoena). The case file was inexplicably sealed until 2020. . .

Gary Hart talked about being the candidate with new ideas, but he had an immense vulnerability. He was a habitué of Turnberry Isle, a 234 acre earthly paradise located north of Miami. Part of the complex was a 29 story condominium. Turnberry was frequented by celebrities of the sports and entertainment world, by politicians and by Mafiosi like Joey Ippolito, a convicted marijuana kingpin. The developer and manager of Turnberry was Don Soffer, who was also the owner of a yacht named the Monkey Business. (After the February, 1987 murder of Don Aronow, Soffer received a telephone call, from a person who told him, "You're next." Soffer hired extra bodyguards and went for a one-week Atlantic cruise on the Monkey Business.) Soffer was a friend of Don Aronow. Ben Kramer was also a frequent visitor to Turnberry Isle. The establishment employed a staff of hostesses who were termed "Donnie's girls" or "the party girls". According to some, these hostesses doubled as luxury prostitutes for the Turnberry clientele of wealthy male patrons.

Among the employees of Turnberry was the sometime model Donna Rice. Another woman, Lynn Armandt, was in charge of the staff of party girls, and also had retail space for a bikini boutique in an upscale and remunerative Turnberry shopping complex. Lynn Armandt was the widow of a reputed Ben Kramer associate, a Miami drug dealer and underworld figure who had disappeared and never been found. The car of Armandt's husband was eventually found, riddled with machine-gun slugs and stained with blood. In the glove compartment, investigators found the telephone number of Ben Kramer.

When federal agents raided Ben Kramer's Fort Apache Marina on August 28, 1987, they examined the contents of Kramer's safe and found the original manuscripts of early primary stump speeches by Gary Hart.

DRUDGE: KERRY MYSTERY WOMAN DATED CAMPAIGN FINANCE CHIEF

The syndicate lurking behind the O.J. Simpson case is a closed circle. To illustrate: James Caan was a regular at exclusive Turnberry Island, Florida's Bacchanalian playground for rich men with rich hormones. Turnberry Island is the Floridian stomping ground of Robert Evans, once Denise Brown's paramour. (He still dwells fondly on erotic memories elicited by the photo of Denise he still hangs on his wall.) Bill Mentzer and Alex Marti, convicted killers of fledgling Hollywood producer Roy Radin, accused Evans from the witness stand of complicity in the murder. Evans was subpoenaed. He pled the Fifth and was sent home. In the early 70s, Evans, according to author Maury Terry in The Ultimate Evil, gave orders to the Son of Sam cult in New York. Bill Mentzer, a cocaine courier, bodybuilder and hit man, belonged to the Sams and took part in the killings attributed to David Berkowitz, who heard voices commanding him to kill. Alex Marti once ran with an Argentine death squad. He opened a private investigation service in Los Angeles and employed the late Rod Columbo before the bodybuilder and cocaine distributor went to work for Joey Ippolito, another regular at Turnberry Island and James Caans best pal. Other regulars at Turnberry: Jack Nicholson and Tommy Lasorda. Statuesque hostesses, employed by Don Soffer, the resorts developer, have included model Donna Rice, Lyn Armandt (the wife of a Miami drug dealer alleged to be a friend of Lanskys great-nephew Ben Kramer her phone call to the Miami Herald finished Gary Hart's presidential ambitions), and a clutch of heartbreakingly beautiful hookers with backgrounds in CIA blackmail operations.

There are some connections here that lead in some very interesting and explosive directions. I'm not going to say more here, but some of the phrases I bolded will be big clues to those familiar with these cases. The last phrase I bolded throws the rest into perspective. I'll leave it at that for now.

Let’s take David Brock at his word, and go from there:

1) Brock gets the Democrats lined up, all in support of impeachment and removal from office, for whatever contrived reason they can come up with.

2) Now, if it’s in the next 2 years, Brock will have to find 24 House Republicans ready to join the effort to impeach Trump, and then 15 Senate Republicans to actually vote for removal. In addition to the 24 Republicans to create the majority in the House, more will likely be needed due to the Hastert Rule (which requires a majority of just Republicans...121 of them, to bring anything big to the floor)...but I’ll ignore that and go with bare minimums.

3) Now it sounds easy for the left...all the Dems need is to hold together and find 25 + 15 = 39 Republicans to want Trump removed...and considering the treatment that Trump has gotten from Republican leaders in the country, we here might be tempted to agree - finding 39 Republicans to want Trump gone, out of 301 Republicans in the House and Senate seems doable.

4) But it is not. The Republicans will wind up having to ask the same question that Paul Ryan (in particular) and other top Republican leaders were asking themselves last summer - which was this: If Trump is dispatched by us (Republican leaders) under unfriendly terms, what happens to his voters...the SAME VOTERS that Paul Ryan and the 300 other Republicans on Capitol Hill need to keep their seats? Easy answer...we go bye-bye and so ends the Republican Party as a national party, and maybe as a party at all.

5) When the ever-back-stabbing Ryan did the simple math...he was left with no choice. Yes, getting rid of Trump last summer may well have put Ryan on the November ballot - but a 50 state loss to Hillary would not have done much for his career, so Ryan had no choice but to suck it up and let Trump push through until November (when the Tea Party would be taught a lesson, he thought...LOL).

6. So, the bottom line is very simple. The ONLY PEOPLE that can impeach Trump are US, the masses that support Trump. If Trump turns on US, and severs his bond with US, then Trump is on his own. The Dems will vote to dump him tomorrow, and many, if not a majority of Republicans would vote the same, if they know there would not be political fallout.

7. So, to Mr. Trump: You hold power at our pleasure - you are doing great so far, but be VERY CAREFUL about double-crossing us. I heard (really read) some words a couple of days ago about making DREAMERS (i.e., a subgroup of Illegals) ‘very happy’. Just keep in mind, Mr. Trump, that making them happy at our expense may limit our support...and our support is what keeps you in office. There may well be options to make DREAMERS happy without angering us (I can think of some that would not anger me), but be VERY CAREFUL going there...you will need our support much more than their support...every single day on the job.

I also meant to bold this phrase from my previous post:

The Soffers also own the swank Fontainebleau hotel in Miami

Some points of interest on the Fontainebleau:

The Judith Exner Story, The Life of the Mistress of John F. Kennedy

On the other hand, no evidence has emerged that Giancana actually did anything to help Kennedy win in West Virginia or to carry Illinois in the subsequent general election. Giancana probably just pocketed the money. More pertinent to the issue here, it is difficult to see how Judith Immoor Campbell Exner played a role in this. She had been introduced to Senator Kennedy by her former lover Frank Sinatra on February 7, 1960. Then, Sinatra had introduced her to Sam "Flood" during a party at Hotel Fontainebleau in Miami, Florida on March 26, 1960. . .When in Miami, she always stayed at the Fontainebleau Hotel. In Washington DC, she always stayed at the Mayflower.

Magruder and Dean have testified that the targets included the office of Lawrence O'Brien, the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC); the DNC headquarters; and the Democratic Convention headquarters at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida.

Woodward and Bernstein: 40 years after Watergate, Nixon was far worse than we thought

According to the Senate Watergate report and Liddy’s 1980 autobiography, he used multicolored charts prepared by the CIA to describe elements of the plan. Operation Diamond would neutralize antiwar protesters with mugging squads and kidnapping teams; Operation Coal would funnel cash to Rep. Shirley Chisholm, a black congresswoman from Brooklyn seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, in an effort to sow racial and gender discord in the party; Operation Opal would use electronic surveillance against various targets, including the headquarters of Democratic presidential candidates Edmund Muskie and George McGovern; Operation Sapphire would station prostitutes on a yacht, wired for sound, off Miami Beach during the Democratic National Convention.

"He also hopes to build a network of donors that rivals the right-leaning Koch Brothers"

The Koch brothers are billionaires who have earned their wealth through successful business ventures. (For any liberals out there, "success business ventures" are businesses who earn money by selling stuff that people want to buy, at prices that people want to pay.)

David Brock is a pan-handler, who has nothing unless someone else gives it to him. Good luck at that.

Brock groups set $40 million budget to fight Trump: "Brock’s groups include Media Matters, a liberal news media watchdog; ShareBlue, a liberal news site; American Bridge, the party’s primary opposition research organization; and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which carries out legal actions. CREW will be a particular locus of activity this year, according to donors briefed on the plans. Brock left the board of CREW in December as former George W. Bush White House ethics lawyer Richard Painter joined, lending the group a bipartisan air. As Donald Trump was inaugurated on Friday, CREW sent the Government Services Agency a complaint noting an apparent conflict in Trump’s agreement with the GSA and his Washington, D.C. hotel, and released a statement claiming Trump is in violation of the Constitution’s foreign emoluments clause. But most of the activity will be centered at American Bridge, a super PAC that intends to do opposition research in every competitive Senate race in 2018 while also playing in governor’s races, Brock told reporters. . .The gathering, which featured some of the party's top strategists in addition to the donors, was largely based around finding a path forward for Democrats."
