Jerusalem is considered the 3rd most holiest site in Islam. It is where MadMo apparently leapt in to heaven. There is some rock there that apparently bears his footprint.
NOPE. Jerusalem is not mentioned even once in the Koran. It was a later "Hadith" that made this claim AFTER Muslim armies had conquered the city (convenient). They claimed that Muhammad's "Night Journey" in the Koran was to the Western Wall of the Jewish Temple, thus giving them fake dominion over that too -- even though he never once stepped foot in any part of Israel while alive. It's all lies.
