The day went better than expected. Darla had stopped eating again and wasn’t drinking so I made an appointment for late afternoon. Then went to the Republican Women’s Group meeting.
I thought I might be taking Darla in for her final trip this afternoon but the vet recommended trying what I hoped he would and she’s doing better now. Eating as I type.
We’ve had a nice steady rainfall since this afternoon. Regular rain, not freezing, thank goodness. Wish you could warm up enough to stop getting the frozen stuff. PRO. Y’all are bound to be sick of it by now.
Hope it never blew up dust clouds today, LUV. That is NO FUN. *gasp - wheeze*

When the dust blows here the whole sky turns brown. Ugh! It looked that way for a while today. I dusted, too...so it’s practically guaranteed it’ll happen again. LOL!

LUV seems to be a somewhat early riser but I doubt that gal from Tennessee will be up in time. :-)
Hit the Road Jack was the absolute first song to come to mind. It’s been in my heart and head for a LONG LONG time during his tenure.
No food during the meeting but they went to a Mexican restaurant afterwards to eat. I came home to spend time with Darla, just in case.
Not a new regimen. She got fluids injected under her skin to rehydrate her and a B-12 shot. The fluids were what she needed most and she seems to feel quite a bit better. Just have to try to get her back on an even keel and she should be fine for a while.
I’ve seen pix and videos of those dust storms and reeeeeeeally wouldn’t want to be in the middle of one. Hope things calm down quickly so you don’t have to endure more of that mess over the weekend. Yuck!
Oooooooh, I plan to get up in time for the Inauguration, believe it or not. LOL! If I’m up by 10, that’ll leave time to shake most of the cobwebs out of the ol’ brain by 11, which is when it happens our time (Central). If I was on the west coast, I’d probably just sleep through it and watch it later online. :-)
I’ll probably be up at about 9am. I’m conflicted as to what or where to watch. I don’t imagine there’ll be too much before 10 eastern, right? But what do I know!
I have DML Live and he is there with commentary, Rush plans to start his show early, live broadcasts everywhere. What to do!!
