When Obama was elected in 2008, my daughter was in third grade. Every student got a free "textbook," hard-cover, to keep for their own. It was called something like "American Presidents," and it's cover showed a huge picture of Obama. Honestly, I think that's the whole reason it was made. Just to have a portrait of Obama, and make sure every kid knew he was the President now.
We still have it somewhere, in some pile of books.
I wonder who paid for it? My school taxes, probably.
