WASHINGTON – In a last major act as president, Barack Obama cut short the sentences of 330 federal inmates convicted of drug crimes on Thursday, bringing his bid to correct what he's called a systematic injustice to a climactic close.
With his final offer of clemency, Obama brought his total number of commutations granted to 1,715, more than any other president in U.S. history, the White House said. During his presidency Obama ordered free 568 inmates who had been sentenced to life in prison.

I predict he won’t pardon Hillary because she does not want one. She is still under the delusion that she will run and win in 2020. If she is pardoned, he political career ends immediately.
Is the media set to track how many of these people harm others once free?
It’ll be a secret pardon, used only if she’s indicted.

You forgot Obama thanking Larry Sinclair for giving him a good time in the limo and Larry’s hotel room in Chicago (if you know what I mean WINK WINK).
Instant get out of jail free card. With these criminals I would not be surprised in the least if this actually happens.

I’m sure this has been discussed but can there be a pardon when their own no crime alleged? Is it similar to Nixon’s pardon to avoid any prosecution? I don’t know the ins and outs of this stuff.

What we’re talking about here is people who have to be vicious. If someone is stepping on their territory, they have to commit violent acts. If someone doesn’t pay, same thing. And then there’s the acts people have to commit because they can’t afford the habit, and their destroyed lives.
There’s the community that suffers an elevated level of crime, members of the public who get caught in the cross-fire, and the families, friends, and associates who are impacted by the folks who do drugs.
There’s the officers who have to clamp down on these people. There’s the court system. There’s the citizens who have to leave work for weeks at a time, and determine the fate of a person who decided to become a career criminal.
Those members of the public have to carry the weight of dealing with other jury members who are Leftists. They have to carry the weight of self-doubt. They have to carry the weight of sending someone off for years, or even life.
And then this dim bulb, after everything that transpired, goes and commutes the sentences of these people, so 1,700 communities will have to deal with these people again.
And those who testified against them...
Think there won’t be a lot of payback going on?
This is a nightmare of a situation for many people.
Jury members, witnesses, officers, judges, court employees, the public...
All so this nine year old child can leave the Oval Office with an inflated ego.
Obama leaves office just as sick and twisted as the day he first arrived.
This was the penultimate act. The final act will be the pardons.
He’ll pardon Hildebitch tomorrow morning.
And all those tailored suits......
