Billionaire investor George Soros will partner with Mastercard Inc on a venture they said could help migrants, refugees and others struggling within their communities worldwide to improve their economic and social status.
The partnership, Humanity Ventures, stems from a pledge Soros made in September to earmark up to $500 million for investments to address challenges facing migrants and refugees.
In a joint statement on Thursday, Mastercard and Soros said that despite billions of dollars of humanitarian and development assistance, millions of people remain marginalized, a situation the private sector can help rectify.

1) Business used to be focused on customers and investors. Can anyone name me a business where the prime focus is the customer and how they are doing? My local credit union is constantly promoting charity and asking me to match it.

I’m just waiting to see a TV commercial with George Soros in his three piece suit, turning to the camera and asking;
“What’s in YOUR wallet?”.
We use a charge card solely for the rewards and pay the balance off every month.
There are other cards at least as good as the Mastercard we have been using so it will be heading for the shredder as soon as we can get accounts set up to use a different card.

Still marginalized after all that monetary attention? Sounds like a money pit. Right now, I feel rather marginalized as a Conservative Christian male. I haven't received any aid so far.
