a pardon would totally undercut their narrative that she lost cause of the russians. they need that narrative for the next 4/8yrs to build anger in the Dem party.
In other words, basically a nobody. Even if he was somebody, his opinion wouldn't matter.

Obama needs to Pardon Soros, Hitlery and Biden.
Then resign and let Biden step up.
So Biden can then pardon him.

Obummer has to wait and time it to take as much press focus off of Trump as possible. Steal some the press on Trumps day by pardoning a criminal who will attend the inauguration. CNN probably has already been told.

Would it be possible for Obama to grant Hillary a pardon, but keep it secret? Then she gets no negative publicity for accepting a pardon, but has an ace in the hole in case she does get to be in danger of indictment under the new administration.

There is a serious downside to this. If she were pardoned, her 5th Amendment rights concerning the “crimes” would evaporate. She could be questioned with complete immunity for the crimes, but not any procedural crimes that she may commit by her lies.
Even if Obama pardons her, Hillary is so damned evil that she should be prosecuted, convicted, and imprisoned anyway.
If the Grand Juries could investigate “Presentations” the Attorney General could already look into all of the Hillary, Comet Pizza, etc. 5th Amendment - During a presentment the grand jury informs the court that they have a reasonable suspicion that the suspect committed a crime.
