We are a military family (all branches) from way back and most of us, especially my sister and I, are very patriotic and love our military. My dad was a lifer in the AF, so I have a special place in my heart for them.
I remember when GW was inaugurated, someone told him one of the first things he needed to learn was how to salute properly (given his background, I figured he probably knew that). I suspect someone also told Trump that as I just got a quick look at his salute today, but it looked pretty good from an AF brat that had previously been around military for a very long time.
Not too long and it will only be 24 hours to go - WOO HOO!!
Could be, that Trump wasn’t expecting a salute before he became President, so wasn’t quite prepared to return it?
So, are you saying that deplaning with a big ol’ coffee in your hand and just flipping up your index finger isn’t honourable? All I could think of was the time that sleazy little punk did that when I saw the respect from President Trump.
