The 2016 presidential election produced the biggest voter gender gap on record, with women preferring Hillary Clinton by 12 percentage points, while men preferred Donald Trump by 12 percentage points. Was that sexism, or just voter preference?

I saw two studies, can’t find them now, but they showed that white women overall voted for Trump, and that married women preferred Trump.

Minority group women and single women voted heavily for Hillary. But those groups tend to vote heavily Democrat anyway. Those females voted for Hillary because she was Tue Democrat, not because of Hillary being a woman.
