I think folks will want to hear of this.

My thoughts are essentially along the same lines as yours.

Yes he was a CIA guy. He was also in Congress, the Senate, the Navy, an Ambassador to China, and Reagan’s VP for eight years.

The guy was exposed to enough of our government to know better than he seemed to think. He claimed he learned a lot from Reagan, but he clearly didn’t learn (know) the things we did.

On paper, he should have been good. In reality he was a New World Order globalist lackey.

Sad, but true.

Not in Senate.

Except as VP.

Yes his resume was amazing, I voted with gusto for him, only to be disappointed and having George Mitchell with the help of Sunnunu and Darmon ( those 2 putzes ) take him to the woodshed on breaking his tax pledge. It became my reason for pulling the lever for Buchanan as a protest in the primary in 92' in Massachusetts of all places. Had he listened to cabinet member Bill Bennett and VP Dan Quayle and "Don't do it" on the Tax Bill, perhaps the Clinton's would have never made it out of Arkansas.

And that is something we will never know but worth considering....

Let’s not argue while he’s ill but for the sake of history, the elder Bush is a great American and great man. WWII hero and life of service at all levels. Most forget he is the one who oversaw the end of the USSSR, liberation of East Europe.

“The guy was exposed to enough of our government to know better than he seemed to think. He claimed he learned a lot from Reagan, but he clearly didn’t learn (know) the things we did.”

His great flaw, that caused him to miss the obvious, is that he is in the deepest part of his being, a patrician. He does not have an understanding of the common man in the American experience. And that made all the difference in the world.

The guy that tried to assassinate Reagan was a family friend of the Bushes.

Reagan stood in the way of Bush’s shady business dealings. Bush stood to benefit greatly from Reagan’s demise.

The assassin was scheduled to have lunch with Neil Bush the day after the shooting.

They are elitist big business crony capitalists with no moral compass.

I consider them traitors.
