Excuse me but you’re sounding a bit like today’s phony journalists. The statement “recipe for disaster” is over the top. Hyperbole is usually found in a fake news piece.
Using security that is not professionally trained is a recipe for disaster, even if they mean well. i.e. this could get interesting.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Yeah, and another recipe for disaster is an army of professionally trained people who have been ordered to adhere to rules of engagement that render them incapable of thwarting massive acts of violence.
If the pros do their jobs properly, then there will be nothing to worry about.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
But if the pros are restrained by higher authority from doing their jobs properly there will be plenty to worry about. And it will not surprise me to hear that has happened. In fact an order has already gone out that police body cameras cannot be used when confronted by protesters.
Confused socialist protestor silencer.
I would prefer the term Wall of Muscle but maybe Meat might scare of the vegans at least.
Every time I hear this story it reminds me of the time the Rolling Stones hired Hells Angels as security for one of their concerts.
the Altamont Raceway...a guy was stabbed, and lots of bad acid being passed around...
the Maysles Brothers movie about it featured the Jefferson Airplane set where the nonsense really ramped up; it’s worth watching a clip online just to get a look at a young Grace Slick...
Are all those high-fallutin’ thoughts shorthand for “I don’t give a red rats a$$?” I sincerely hope some protesters get pounded to the ground as a lesson to all. Can’t learn’em, they won’t work, and they have no manners.
Altamont - Which didn’t end up so well.
You most definitely implied and suggested that in your own words above.
Since ya seem to be a bit slow, once again, if it were not for the HA's killing that violent lunatic with the gun, he could have killed multiple innocent people. Get it?
Worry not.
Bikers have cameras.
“Muscle” sounds pretentious.
“Meat” is primitive and visceral.
Psy-ops.
It’s what’s fer dinner.
It ended up *great* for all the people Meredith Hunter didn’t get to shoot.
I’m dating myself here Salamander, but I was around back then and just might have resembled that remark.
Give up.
You’ll only bloody your fist against this thick brick.
My era, too.
They’ve played at “East Coast Sturgis” a couple of times.
Still got it.
