They promised to cover the additional costs for a time, and then drop the problem on the states knowing it would be impossible to sustain and that everyone would then demand single payer, like Trump is doing now.

Yup. Create a financial disaster for the States and then come to the rescue with single payer after the health care system is decimated. Lemme guess — and blame it all on the Republicans because they refused to bail out the States with trillions of dollars.

Well that was the Democrats that did that, without a single Republican vote in either house, so presumably none of us really trust them.
Except for half of the voting population. Doesn’t bode well for this country. At least we have renewed hope — crossing my fingers. Maybe false hope.
Well, yes, but not much hope. De Tocqueville saw it all coming. When they realize they can vote to give themselves money from the public treasury it will all go to hell.
This is encouraged by the class, race, and ethic wars that the Democrats are now famous for. Instead of us being Americans we are now a “class” a “color” a race a sex and BTW that other group over there is trying to screw you.
Absolutely right. What ever happened to the “melting pot”?
