~The FReeper Canteen Presents~ Road Trip: United States Army Research Detroit Arsenal, Michigan Home of the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command Headquarters, the Detroit Arsenal has played a vital role in our Nations defense since the start of World War II. Located in Warren, Mich., the Detroit Arsenal sprang up seemingly overnight in 1940 with the single focus of producing medium tanks. Today, the Detroit Arsenal remains ever vigilant as the host for organizations that provide over 70 percent of the systems used in the military.Home of the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command Headquarters, the Detroit Arsenal has played a vital role in our Nations defense since the start of World War II. Located in Warren, Mich., the Detroit Arsenal sprang up seemingly overnight in 1940 with the single focus of producing medium tanks. Today, the Detroit Arsenal remains ever vigilant as the host for organizations that provide over 70 percent of the systems used in the military. Detroit Arsenal (DTA), formerly Detroit Arsenal Tank Plant (DATP) was the first manufacturing plant ever built for the mass production of tanks in the United States. Established in 1940 under Chrysler, this plant was owned by the U.S. government until 1996. . The installation is managed by Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and hosts the headquarters of the United States Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) and the United States Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command. Same wish here but I’m afraid Momma might not use that nest again. Notice how rounded it is now? Not the right shape at all and Momma won’t do any work building rails. Those opsreys just dumped stuff on it but did nothing to shape it.
