Time to kill all vines is in early spring w/ tender new growth, or in fall; after cut down of old growth, wait until tender new sprouts, and spray heavily. They belong in the wild, not on property.

Rush,

Remember back in 2008 when mentioning Obama's middle name of Hussein was declared off-limits?

I guess that white middle names are always okay to stereotype?

CS is for fungus/virus treatment.

Use extra strength contact & systemic herbicides. Save your back.

A funnel cloud was spotted west of Katy. A few fences and trees went down is all I’ve seen.

A freeper in central TX near Caldwell says one of her neighbors got hit pretty bad.

The new, tender growth is the key. Otherwise, it’s a waste of time and money.

It’s the LEAVES here. Fang still rakes them at 73; but I’m
not much help with the raking. He started running the riding
mower over the leaves in our large yard. Our yard NEEDS the
composting help from the shredded leaves. If it’s left for
me to do, I have to do it how I can do it. When he had a
surgery 5 yrs. ago that left it all up to me; I had to use
the push mower and cut it one-fourth of the yard at a time.

FWIW - Sweet potatoes are in the Morning Glory family. They are NOT potatoes. Yams in the grocery store are really sweet potatoes. If you want to see a true yam you will need to go to west Africa. They are only distantly related botanically.

Potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants (aubergine), Capsicum peppers (bell, Tabasco, Habanero), and tobacco are first cousins in the Nightshade family.

Onions, and garlic are lilies.

Apples are in the rose family.

Vanilla is an orchid.

BTW - Caw.

Does zero good when plants are dormant. No absorption into plant tissues. Rains wash-off chemicals, even with built-in stickers. But the chemical companies really do appreciate your repeat business... heh.

One dry day is all you need, in early spring, after new leaf buds appear, and start to open. Fall spraying is a similar procedure.
