Bob Woodward backed Donald Trump in his ongoing feud against the U.S. intelligence community during a panel discussion on “Fox News Sunday.”
“In Trump’s mind, he knows the old adage, ‘once a C.I.A. man, always a C.I.A. man,’ and no one came out and said those people shouldn’t be saying those things,” the Washington Post’s famed editor explained. “So act two is the briefing when this dossier is put out.”
“I’ve lived in this world for 45 years where you get things and people make allegations,” he continued. “That is a garbage document.”
“It never should have been presented as part of an intelligence briefing, as you suggested — other channels have the White House counsel give it to Trump’s incoming White House counsel.”
Woodward emphatically stated the president-elect is “right to be upset about that, and I think if you look at the real chronology and the nature of the battle here, those intelligence chiefs who were the best we’ve had, who were terrific and have done great work — they made a mistake here.”
“When people make a mistake, they should apologize.”

Sounds like Woodward is angling for exclusive access to Trump. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he gets it.
DJT is the Commander and Chief and he does NOT have to put up with overtly disloyal subordinates. There is a time and place to challenge the boss but the press is neither.

If the intelligence community is treating him like garbage, that makes it intentional and not a mistake.
The intelligence community is either doing it intentionally on their own, or they are getting their direction from higher office, like Obama and company. No way Obama is going to apologize, and if the act was intentional on the part of anybody, then, no apology at all will be coming.
Yes, they have, and so has the rest of government and the media.
It’s like they are completely racist against Trump, and they are perfectly fine with demonstrating their bigotry.
They could not tell the difference was because they did not care too. Next time they pull this crap trump should test fire a cruise nuke into Langley.

Well, at least Woodward got that right. The entire golden rain BS was like something a 10 year old boy would come up with.
Little by little, over the last decade, I have noticed Woodward drifting over to our corner.
