It was not just one good Samaritan that helped the wounded Arizona State Trooper. We now know that there were at least three good Samaritans. The first was the man who was headed to California with his wife when he saw the Trooper, Edward Anderson, with an attacker on top of him, pounding Andersons head into the pavement, Trayvon Martin style.
His ability to quickly assess the situation and take action is somewhat remarkable. The event occurred at milepost 89 on I-10, at about 4:30 a.m. There are no street lights in this remote area. That is when the Trooper was shot from ambush.
The Trooper, Anderson, had probably left his headlights and emergency lights on as he put out flares to secure the scene of a rollover accident. There was a full Moon, well above the horizon to the West Northwest. Those lights, and the headlights from the good Samaritans car, were all the lighting there was.
The good Samaritan had to be observant enough to see the attack ongoing, and quick witted enough to stop his car and run back to determine the correct action to take. He then procured his own firearm, ordered the attacker to cease, and when the order was ignored, shot the attacker to stop the attack.
Several people have speculated that the firearm was locked up because the Samaritan was traveling to California, where firearms in cars are required to be locked up and unloaded.
Then he tried to call 911, but he could not get through from this remote location. He flagged down another good Samaritan. That man, Brian Schober, had previous EMT service in Alaska and was on his way to work in Yuma,

Samaria is a long way from AZ.
I reached out to the Maricopa County Attorneys Office to see if they plan to move forward with any charges against this citizen, and they said right now it is too soon for them to comment.
...not one bit of this paragraph makes sense.
Is there a name or a description of the dead man who shot the trooper?
Not even a whiff.
Is there a name or a description of the dead man who shot the trooper?
___________
No, but his mama has already said he Dindu Nuffin.
Since it is absent we need not speculate. We already know what the answer is. We know that the perp was:
1) Black
2) hispanic
3) illeagal
It's obvious that the mediots are desperately trying to conceal this from the public lest it make one of their protected pet groups look bad.
I wonder if his name is Trayvon or something?
This reminds me of the black woman who was mowing people down with her car on the West coast. People said she was screaming allahu akbar but the sheriff or chief of police refused to confirm because it was inciteful or something.
I am sure this isn’t the perp’s first rodeo - you just don’t shoot a trooper twice in the back with no provocation. He most likely has a rap sheet complete with mugshots and his info should be released.
Probably a name like Shatwon Lavonne.
Like you, I pretty much have it down to 2-3 perps, but they’re playing it close-to-the-vest. In the articles I’ve found so far, not even a peep about him.
LOL. I found so many weird ones on a quick Google search, it’s hilarious.
An armed citizen, then an EMT just happened along and finally the third passerby knew where to find the officers first aid kit and started using it? See the hand of God at work here” I do.
Let him burn in hell in obscurity.
ROFL
I read/heard that the dead supect and the dead woman from the rollover crash have both been IDed, but the names have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing and many questions are unanswered.
The armed good Samaritan’s name is being withheld, for good reasons.
That's because Sheriff Joe lost his last election and a DemonRAT is now sheriff. Anyone in Maricopa County can now expect extreme hostility from the Sheriff's Office if they defend themselves or others from a deadly threat.
Based on the numbers of lib-dems infesting AZ, I have to wonder if they’ll charge the GoodSam with all kinds of firearm and civil rights violations.
Now you are making me laugh all over again, LOL.
Happened in Pinal County; that’s Sheriff Paul Babeu, I think. He’s not a Lib LEO, even if he did come to us from Massachusetts.
