President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday shut down a CNN reporter who attempted to ask a question at Trump’s first press conference in months.

Speaking in Manhattan, the president-elect first blasted BuzzFeed for its decision Tuesday to publish a memo containing unverified claims that Trump both was compromised by and collaborated with Russian intelligence agents who the memo said passed information to his campaign, claims that Trump denied at Wednesday’s news conference.

Trump also blasted CNN, which on Tuesday was the first of numerous news outlets to report that top US intelligence officials presented Trump with a summary of the memo as part of a briefing last week, though CNN did not publish the full memo as BuzzFeed did.

“As far as BuzzFeed, which is a failing pile of garbage, writing it, they’re going to suffer the consequences, they already are,” Trump said, before going off on a tangent defending his lawyer, Michael Cohen, who was also named in the memo. “As far as CNN going after their way to build it up — and by the way, we just found out, Michael Cohen, who is a very talented lawyer, a good lawyer at my firm. It was just reported that it wasn’t this Michael Cohen that we’re talking about.”

Moments later, when CNN reporter Jim Acosta attempted to ask a question, Trump refused.

“Not you. Not you,” Trump said. “Your organization is terrible. Your organization is terrible. Quiet, quiet. She’s asking a question, don’t be rude.”

“Since you’re attacking our news organization, can you give us a question?” Acosta asked repeatedly

“I’m not going to give you a question. You’re fake news,” Trump replied, only later taking a question from a different CNN reporter.

CNN stood by its reporting.

Shortly after the news conference, CNN anchor Jake Tapper read a statement from the network defending its story and distancing its reporting from BuzzFeed’s decision to publish the 35-page memo.

“CNN’s decision to publish carefully sourced reporting about the operations of our government is vastly different than BuzzFeed’s decision to publish unsubstantiated memos,” the statement said. “The Trump team knows this. They are using BuzzFeed’s decision to deflect from CNN’s reporting, which has been matched by other major news organizations.

“CNN made it clear that we are not publishing any details of the 35 page document because we have not corroborated the report’s allegations. Given that members of the Trump transition team have so vocally criticized our reporting, we encourage them to identify, specifically, what they believe to be inaccurate.”

DNCNN is in full retreat from this Fake News story. This entire operation is being coordinated out of the Clinton Machine. It has all the hallmarks of their Alinsky methods.Problem is they don't really work on Trump since everyone already knows who he is.

Some over at the American Sp-ectatot want to know what is going on with Marco Rubio, why the hell is he grilling Rex Tillerson.Even Tillerson had to remind the banda de los ocho Senator that they were on the same side.So sad to see especially since he could be so much more.
Rubio appears to have been co-opted by the rino wing.

//spectator.org/what-is-rubio-up-to/

Watching the Rex Tillerson confirmation hearings before the Senate yesterday, one thing was clear: Marco Rubio don’t much like Tillerson’s kind. As Senator Rubio listed the atrocities being perpetrated by bad actors around the world, he’d give Mr. Tillerson a steely look and ask leading questions:

Is Mr. Putin is a war criminal?

Do you sanction human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia?

Will you redo a blockade in Cuba?

At a certain point, Mr. Tillerson says,”Our interests are not different, Senator” implying that Mr. Rubio was acting like they were.

Some political commentators are musing that Mr. Rubio is attempting to extract some piece of the power pie by being tough on Tillerson–perhaps a one-on-one sit down with him and a concession on some priority and then he’ll vote to let the nomination out of committee. Maybe. His tone and demeanor were oddly personal and aggressive.

I was left to wonder if Mr. Rubio didn’t like Mr. Tillerson personally, if he didn’t like business people in the diplomatic world generally, or if he was spiteful because Mr. Tillerson was a very tangible consequence of his own loss to a man he feels is grossly ignorant of the world.

If the posturing was pure politics, it seems like stupid politics. First off, Mr. Rubio didn’t give John Vietnam Kerry this difficult of a time and one could reasonably argue that Kerry’s behavior regarding the Vietnam war was disloyal or treasonous. Second, does Mr. Rubio want to start off with the new president from a position of hostility, and who is giving him this genius advice? Third, if he sets up a purely adversarial role now, how will later concessions look to his loyal fans?

Taking Mr. Rubio literally, and assuming that he is genuinely concerned that we have a potential Secretary of State who doesn’t care about human rights, war crimes, and is a completely driven instead by profit, what did he expect Mr. Tillerson to say?

Why is it that any reference to BuzzFeed does not include the footnote that NBC has made a $400 Million investment in Buzzfeed? Is that amount of money like petty cash to these guys, or is that just "ignore the dog poo on my shoe"?

Not to mention that the Wikipedia photo of Buzzfeed co-founder Jonah Peretti makes him look like Rachel Maddow. Has anybody ever seen them together in the same room at the same time? Their child would look like Pajama Boy.

CNN not fake news? The 5th most important story at the CNN website is the SNL skit on Trump from last night. A fake news skit is number 5 on CNN, and they claim not to be fake news??
