I’m staying home, in my sweats (may had pearls ;-) in front of the TV all day! Have a bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge and Scotch in the cupboard for the balls. Not sure about menu yet. If I cook something, it will be something not time intensive. Thinking of making spaghetti sauce the day before. Or, perhaps meat loaf (one of Trump’s favs) with a baked potato and veggies - that’s actually sounding good right now. Haven’t decided on a menu yet - still working on today’s ;-)
How could I forget about the pearls!! I bought myself a nice strand of freshwater pearls for birthday/Christmas. I try to buy myself something special every year since no one’s buying for me. Couldn’t think of anything more appropriate than a strand of pearls this year. I’ll wear them Friday whether I go to the gathering or not (leaning towards not).
