At 6 on the morning after the election, Mindy Moretti, a writer and editor residing in the District, reserved a rental car that she intends to load with her mutt Maisey and an overnight bag to drive out of Washington just before Donald Trump is sworn in as president.

“They’re coming — it’s inevitable,” Moretti said of the new administration. “But that doesn’t mean I have to be here with the welcome wagon.”

Alisha Edmonson, the owner of the Songbyrd Music House in Adams Morgan, is hosting inauguration week fundraisers for Planned Parenthood and the ACLU, a dance party in honor of President Obama, and a brunch special celebrating his family’s move to nearby Kalorama.

The bar will sponsor no such welcome to Washington for the Trumps, including the president-elect’s daughter, Ivanka, who also is moving to Kalorama. “We are not a political space; we’re a safe space,” Edmonson said by way of explanation, smiling as she chose her words carefully. She declined to elaborate.

Presidential transitions are a staple of Washington’s political theater, a choreographed swirl of handshakes, air kisses and moving trucks that typically unfolds without disturbing the capital city’s tightly scripted rhythms.

Safe spaces are political spaces for snowflakes who can’t deal with reality.

“Heavily Democratic D.C.”

D.C. is more or less “Moocher Ground Zero.”

Home of Wealthy moochers and not so wealthy moochers, all running federal government scams to live on the backs of working taxpayers.

And "Hell's coming with them." I can hardly wait for January 20th to get here.

She has no car, I’m assuming she’s couch surfing until she finds herself.

These huge egos with tiny characters are going to be pleading for mercy by this time next year. NEVER LET UP. The Left never has taken their foot off conservatives and it’s past time that they get the feel of our boots on their necks.

There won’t be foreclosures, as the Dems will sell at a profit. The DC area is one of the hottest real estate markets and always churns when their is a change of party at the top.

This is what all the bull**** we’re seeing from the snowflakes is all about. MONEY! A bunch of commie libs with no marketable skills are about to become unemployed. Good luck with that fifteen dollar minimum wage kiddies! Don’t forget to sign up for your “wildly popular” ObamaCare. LOL.

“I hate that term — ‘Drain the swamp’ — about where I live and where I was born,” said Rice, a resident of Southeast. “It sounds like everyone here is beneath him. This man doesn’t know or care about us.”

Someone, some day, has to read America's black citizens the riot act; namely, someone must tell them that no one is to blame for their miserable state of existence in America but their own stubborn refusal to participate in the bountiful opportunities that exist here. First and foremost, their refusal to work hard while in school, their refusal to encourage their kids to work hard while they are in school, their poisonous hatred of white people for something those people did not do, etc.

I have a jobs program for blacks. We could put hundreds of thousands of them to work in very short order. How? By training them to round up, under supervision, millions of illegal aliens. They could be trained very quickly to move through America's barrios, using only as much force as was necessary, again under supervision by law enforcement, apprehending those who don't have evidence that they or their families came here legally. Then this black cadre of patriots could move on to other concentrations of alien populations that are believed to have a large number of illegals residing among them, and rounding up those who are illegal. This would have the added benefit of freeing up perhaps millions of jobs that blacks need but are now being held by illegal aliens.

In turn, America intends to deal with the black thugs who are prowling our streets, torturing, raping and murdering our people. Take it or leave it.

Personally, I’m no happier now than when Obama was in office.
For eight years I couldn’t bear the constant sucking up to Obama by the Left. Now I equally can’t stand the constant hatred of Trump by the Left. I can’t fu**ing win.

Defund the Left! Make universities take student loans back at face value. That will end snowflake majors, or end the universities that offer them. Maybe Harvard ca afford them for a few years.

If Trump does his job right, he’ll tell folks to rent, not buy, in D.C., and rents will come down 50-80% when D.C. is right-sized.
