President-elect Donald Trump unleashed a Twitter attack on Congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis, after the lawmaker said he wouldn't attend Trump's inauguration because he doesn't see him as a "legitimate president."
Lewis in an interview with NBC on Friday cited Russia's meddling in the election for his view on the legitimacy of the presidential election results, and his comments stoked controversy with Republicans and debate inside the Democratic Party.
"I don't see this president-elect as a legitimate president," Lewis said.

The media is trying to make Trump look like a racist because he had the audacity to attack John “Mushmouth” Lewis on MLK weekend. Sorry, but he started it by calling Trump an illegitimate president, and then had the “gall” to defend himself unlike the usual Republican who would cower in fear. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t if your Trump, so I’m glad he didn’t take Lewis’s crap and went after him.

Lewis was a continuously a$$haole on the Senate Investigative Committee chaired by Trey Gowdy.
Lewis went ballistic on Gowdy when they investigated Hillary’s e-mail paths to a separate server.
It turns out that Gowdy was right and Lewis was an apparatchik for the left.
And now Lewis is harvesting what he wrought in Gowdy’s Committee. Clinton lost the lection, and the Alinsky left has been retarded for at least several generations.

I’m sick of hearing this idiot referred to as a civil rights icon. He’s a liar and a fraud and a political hack. He attacked Donald Trump’s legitimacy yet he’s portrayed as the victim of another twitter attack by DJT. I’m getting real sick of this crap real fast.

Work with him, and he will praise you publicly and find common ground, and probably try to get you something out of the deal.
