He’s successfully evolved from civil rights participant to entrenched, well-fed congressman of more than 30 years based on the fact he has no skills with which to support himself and his apparent addiction to the sweet life in DC. In this respect, he seems to share that longevity with most of the rest of the CBC, and indeed the democrat party. And it’s more than legitimate to ask how those in his district have benefitted from his decades in “public service.” The same should be asked of the other CBC loudmouths, like Maxine Waters, Frederica Wilson, Elijah Cummings and so on.
