Over this weekend, powerful political, business and creative agents will gather in Davos, Switzerland for the 2017 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting that runs from Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20.
Political and business leaders are heading to Davos.
The United States will be well represented by corporate and intellectual giants, however, as we enter the last week of President Obama’s tenure in the White House, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry will be on hand from the outgoing US administration.
Physics teaches nature abhors a vacuum and political science behaves in the same way. It is a typical political trait to exploit any and every opportunity for one’s national advantage and with Mr Trump not assuming the Presidency until Friday, expect China to lay down a marker signaling its long-term ambition to become the most powerful sovereign agent on the planet.

That's been their log term goal since Mao - they thought they would simply overrun the world with sheer numbers and subtle propaganda. Until Trump, the world was blissfully ignorant and going to let it happen.

Ironically, Davos was my favorite place to ski when I lived there. It always had snow and the Parsenn runs are easy and LONG. I miss it so bad. I never knew it was this political meeting hub. Don’t diss a great place just because these globalists chose it.
A comaglelamation of shared interests and shared cultures between various members in different amounts and fashions forming the glue (Islam,China,English,Showers,Western Culture,Modern Military, Denial of Market Access,) would be some of these.
With Mexico about to be in a world of hurt, does China counter and attempt to take over Mexico monetarily as well as operationally by become the main injector of money into the corruption pipeline that is Mexico, they've got the cash and they need do something with it that would be a two birds one stone thing. Would DJT reassert the Monroe doctrine?
