Speaking to Steve Kroft on 60 minutes he said that the 'bubbles' they are in and constraints posed by Secret Service have 'gotten old'.
He said: 'Michelle never fully took to the scrutiny. She's thrived as a First Lady, but it's not her preference.
'She was the hardest sell, and she never fully embraced being in the public spotlight, which is ironic given how good she is.

The media constantly told her we couldn’t get enough of her. Every time they said her name it was “the lovely Michelle”. It was like they’d never seen a black woman before and they didn’t know how to describe her.

No Barry, she was not "good at it." I've always said Michelle Obama could have been a lovely first lady ... but she wasn't, because of the permanent expression of resentment on her face.
And it's no secret Barry is divulging here. Michelle Obama has complained about living in the White House many times since 2009.
