Don't you mean Dr Martin Luther King Martin Luther and Dr Martin Luther King are two completely different people

I’ve become embarrassed that I used to actually like Jonah’s writings and perspectives.

Whatever one believes, it is official US government policy that white & Asian men ARE SUPERIOR - it is the justification for the punitive actions taken against them regarding access to higher education, job opportunities, and promotions.

You’re spot on; the idea of “white privilege” is pushed by people with a crushing inferiority complex based on their own experiences. When examples of “white privilege” were expanded to include having a parent read to one as a child, the writing was on the wall - they have no worthwhile culture or legacy to transmit from one generation to the next. I believe it is VERY destructive for blacks to live in a world where most have their basic needs (and many luxuries) provided by the hated white devils...

Here’s MY preference: I want to live among people who are polite, law-abiding, not into street drugs, and not into sharia.

except that your stated preference has a much greater chance of ocurrence in a ‘culturally white’ community...or perhaps you could spend a year or so in an inner city enclave subjected to the tender mercies of the young male population finding ways to deal with their ‘boredom’...

I translate “White Privilege” as “Parents who gave a damn” Privilege.

My parents read to me at night, made sure I did my homework, came down on me like an avalanche when my grades dipped, made me do chores, encouraged me to get a job, drove me to work, taught me how to drive so I could drive myself to to work, etc.

Blacks currently have an illegitimacy rate of 73%+. (White illegitimacy is climbing, though...). A huge percentage of them don't have “parents who give a damn.”

What is amazing is that any ‘culture’ at all survives there.

Of course the Left's solution is to put an end to Parents giving a damn.

Frankly, I don’t even think a dictionary is going to help me with these definitions. I think we may be needing a new word.

I remember when I learned the word “statist” from Mark Levin’s book. It made sense to me. To me it meant doing things for the entrenched elite in this country. But since then, I’ve come to understand that the entrenched elite in this country aren’t really in this country. Some of them are of it, many are not. Globalist elite is more like it. So “statist” doesn’t mean what it truly is.

Doing things the way the Obama admin, or the congress, wished, was CLEARLY not in the interests of the American people.

Then we come to the word Nationalist. As a child of a Holocaust survivor, it isn’t a pleasant word, but Donald Trump’s clear movement to put America’s actual interests first and not do the bidding of globalists can be described as nationalist. Nevertheless, Hitler did make grievous use of nationalism to the point of invading and decimating other countries. Wanting to make international deals for the good of the People of the USA can’t be the same word used to describe Deutschland, Deutschland, über alles.

It might be nice to have some word that conveys America First, Not Last. Obama’s America was for dark and Muslim peoples of the world, whether belonging here or not, to use the few geese with the golden eggs here as their slaves. The geese were the rich mostly whites of tech and industry. And his policies over 20 more years would have killed most geese.

This is really really picky, and delving into genetics, but Jews have come up with a lot of conceptual things and achieved very high educational knowledge status thousands of years ago. They were stateless but dark. No, they weren’t deep black but they were dark Mediterranean looking and no doubt had African blood. It’s not the skin that determines achievement but behavior. What does the society respect? Jewish society respected reading and education very early on, and their status (often right next to kings who were dumb as rocks and couldn’t read) reflected and recapitulated their focus on being learned.

And I’m praying for your dear wife, may today be better for her.

And the net result of all that is that you are competent. Funny how that works.

But yes, a good alternate translation.

I still like him when he’s not talking about Trump. But he has really lost it when it comes to Trump. VDH took bim to task the other day for something silly he had written about Trump at NRO.

True as far as it goes, IrishBrigade: I imagine that Belfast during the ‘70’s would have had the same bad profile.

Those are very trenchant comments. Nationalism did get an ugly connotation after Hitler. I think his was a cult and a fanaticism which made use of the term to cloak their ideas in an socially acceptable framework.

I also prefer Globalist because it is a more accurate representation of what the world is facing at present and coincidentally is more obviously the opposite of National aims. Each Nation is unique and has differing economic drivers & necessities. Each Nation needs to optimize their own economy, trade and infrastructure which is why the EU is failing.

In the context of individual Nations each promoting the good of their own people, international cooperation should establish areas of mutual goals & interests where more can be accomplished together than as individuals but the tail does not wag the dog, Globalist concerns should not dictate National priorities.

Agreed. If we micro’ed it to the sandbox level, it is like a neighborhood. Each family unit needs to first make sure they are whole and safe before they can come together to build, improve, secure the neighborhood. But in an emergency they will be there for one another.

Nationalism means righting our own “family” before trying to fix the world (impossible anyway, and those who try have ulterior motives like the Bushes). However, in emergencies (need to be both defined and examined on case by case basis) we still can work with the good world players.

If you look at our definitions in our posts, and then think about Obama and Merkel refugee strategies, they seem insane. Bring unlimited numbers of never-assimilating young men from incompatible cultures into our land?? Not even close to the top 10 solutions for that problem.

No one has ever found a better way of saying it than Hippocrates. First, do no harm.
