There are some details in the article about Steele’s trip to New York and meeting with Corn I hadn’t seen before. I knew about Cockburn’s leftist associations; Cockburn has also published a piece on this comparing the dossier to Nigergate, which is an accurate observation.
You don't have to be a genius (and most of America isn't - or can't be - because they don't have time for politics) to know the Hillary stuff was legit and this stuff is some of the weakest attempt at fake scandal generation that's every been tried.
All of this works for, not against Trump.
Steele must not be too frustrated, as he is now in hiding, unwilling
to surface to answer questions about his fake report.
