Mid article they talk about John McCain. This didn't just fall into McCain's lap. He actively went searching for it by sending an emissary to get it.
I bet Trump wishes he could take back his McCain endorsement. With folks like McCain on your side, who needs enemies?
Here's the thing - if this thing was so serious and legit, why are there errors in it? Why couldn't any of the media outlets who saw this (the majority of whom would have loved to have pounded the nail in Trump) confirm it so they could run with it? Why haven't any of the 17 intelligence agencies been able to confirm it? Obviously one of them was involved in the leak about it to CNN, although we don't know which one. Obama/Biden were briefed, and based on what we have heard, they weren't alarmed by it. WikiLeaks has a perfect track record in verifying documents and says this is a fraud.
We will not hear the end of this. You have Rep. Lewis and others who are using this to try to delegitimize his Presidency. All you hear now is Russia, Russia, Russia. In fact, Russian Troll or Putinbot are the new racist in terms of leftist insults.
I hope this is fully investigated and proven to be a fraud so we don't have to keep hearing about it.

If you accept this dossier, and tomorrow...some other idiot shows up with another dossier on Harry Reid from some Chinese hacker, or a dossier on Hillary Clinton from some secret Italian surveillance organization....do you accept that one and investigate it?
This 007-secret agent man (C. Steele)....it just seems like he’s a contracted out guy to deliver something for someone...whether it is true or fictional. It appears when McCain first heard about it he was scrambling for a copy etc when one suddenly appeared available to him. He sent a ‘trusted aid’ to England(?) to pick it up and bring it back.
McLame took it Comey, Comey told McLame he already had a copy of it for quite a while and it was ‘worthless’.
I would have liked to be a ‘fly on the wall’ listening to McCain crying to his pals about not being considered important enough to ‘be in the loop’.
Anyhow, in essence McClain was dissed by the supplier for leading him to believe he had something, FBI & WH not keeping him in the loop.
I still say Trump should have ‘given’ him SoS or DOD, wait a decent amount of time and FIRE HIM - once his replacement is safely ensconced.
