I have lectured at this campus many times over the past decade and it is far to the left as can be.

While none of my talks were met with protestors, but one talk I gave was about threats from a certain country both via Cyber attacks and an established spy network on American soil. It was not met with a positive response. :)

College Republicans invited Milo to speak at the University of Washington on January 20th:

Hello our dear guests, supporters, and critics of Milo. This post will serve as the official venue entrance guidelines to the January 20 event in Kane Hall. The show is oversold, and we are expecting a full house (We oversold because there were many people signing up with fake names or seeking to get multiple tickets to mess with our numbers.) Kane hall will be setup to accommodate approximately 440 persons. Entrance to the event will likely begin around 7:30 PM and will be done according to admittance priority (see below)

There was a huge protest causing the U of W to charge a $8,000 fee for security. They thought that would stop Milo from speaking with the high cost they would have to pay. The Republicans did an end run around them by setting up an account with GoFundMe. They raised $10,000. Now the Leftist crowd is going after GoFundMe:

Twitter used to have a Milo problem. Now @gofundme has a Milo problem: https://t.co/Okr02Oggpp

The American response will have to be asymmetrical, and adroit.

The American response will have to be asymmetrical, and adroit accurate. I see no other option.

The campus Republicans, who sponsored the event, were told THEY would be held responsible for injuries or damage done by the protestors, so they agreed to cancel the event.

HELLO?

The campus Republicans need to be lawyering up, and demanding to know WHY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CAUSING INJURIES AND DAMAGE NOT BEING HELD RESPONSIBLE?

And btw, let’s be clear. These “protestors” are the fascists.

My son was supposed to attend this event. He said there were about two hundred protesters and a lot of shouting and pushing but no violence. A few students tried to hide in the building to attack Milo but were thrown out by the campus police.

The left has a heckler’s veto over conservative voices on campus.

Sad. The lack of Christianity by professors is to blame. Parents are taking notes. Students are brilliant and are thinking of ways to prepare law suits, such as charging $1 for each person attending and then suing when the business is shut down. The protestors are off the street punks getting paid $15 by Planned Parenthood freaks. Nothing new. Pro-lifers have faced the thugs for many years. Solution? Christianity in the public square, Bible in public schools and yes, the force of law.

He should sue every university that refuses to protect him and the 1st amendment. He would be a wealthy man.

he is in grad school there. Went to Pepperdine for undergrad degree. So he had a solid Christian foundation from there. Davis has 16000 undergrads so only a tiny minority came out to protest.

He thought it was fun and found the protesters ridiculous

A lot of what follows is going to depend on the tone that Donald Trump takes. Love him, hate him, conflicted about him, he definitely now commands all the political oxygen in the room. Many of us are just guessing about what’s going to happen.

The force of gospel, rather than law, is the only thing that can keep a consistent divine fire burning throughout the land.

I don’t disagree with bibles in public schools, but do want to make a distinction about HOW they get there. Let it be demand driven, so that it is also voluntary. I don’t want the state to even get close to looking like it is running any sort of church. Teach the KIDS what a wonderful book of history the bible is (rather than that it is a club to hit them over the head). 5 years of age is NOT too young to start understanding the bible. In many Asian communities, children at that age are already mastering intermediate language concepts. I personally was able to read at sixth grade level and that wasn’t because I was so bright as because I just cared! If it could be read, I longed to devour it.

It’s all so utterly ridiculous there were only two or three hundred people who were there protesting....at most. I can’t stand that people let a few hundred punks get their way. Just like with Twitter and social media these people do nothing but sit around getting outrage. The permanently offended milinilials do not have the numbers to influence an election. They don’t have the economical power to have an effective boycott. Why do people back down from them!
