We had about 3 1/2” rain near Oakland. January average Oakland precipitation as per the Almanac is 5.2” in January. The month is not even half over and we are at 4.7”

If the spigot doesn’t turn off in February like it has the last couple years the drought will be busted in NorCal.

Yesterday I was in Hollywood and it poured hard for several hours. If it kept up longer one would have needed a boat to get down Sunset Blvd. LA has no drainage for a heavy rain.

Nope...nobody ever thought how handle drainage in LA. Simply cannot be done.
