Lady Liberty is something that it’s harder to politicize. She’s purely symbolic. (Although now we seem to be pushing the envelope.) Using real people means we have to tussle over Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, or how soon we will see a regular issue Reagan dollar.

Is she cisgender? Then it’s heteronormative.

Yes, she does look thoughtful. I like to imagine this is how American hero Harriet Tubman looked in her younger days.

What’s next a cross-dressing gay man? A sumo wrestler?

Moochelle will have her own coin soon enough

When I was growing up, my parents had a paperback novel called One Hundred Dollar Misunderstanding.

From Amazon: "A college sophomore spends a weekend with a pretty 14-year-old black prostitute under the manly misapprehension that she has invited him because she finds him irrresistable. Outraged when her guest resists payment, Kitten steals her rightful $100 fee, and the hijinks begins."

Hopefully, they’ll make her look like a gray (alien abductor) next.

They’ve already done Gen. Wesley Clark, I believe. Could be wrong.

Yup. If kept in mint condition

But something tells me this will have a huge production run for just that reason.

Looks like they modeled her expression on that of Marilyn Mosby in full prosecutorial mode.

It’s being falsely advertised. You cannot get one of those for only 100 dollars.

One ounce gold coins cost you about $1500. The U.S. Mint will be happy to assist you.
