Will President Obama pardon Hillary Clinton before he leaves office? A question curiously non-discussed in the media.
However, when you accept that CNN’s broadcasted narratives, ie. the preferred positions of the U.S. Department of State, are generally good predictors of the political forecast, all signs point to yes.

Bill has already been impeached so and if Hillary gets a pardon, that would be quite a “unique distinction” for this once revered power couple. Quite an historical legacy they’re leaving. lol

Bill was impeached, but let to remain in office, but no law license, etc...
This will be a sad day in history if she is impeached, because this just isn’t the United States we are talking about but foreign countries that want to do harm to us for any reason...
When and if he does he is certifying she is guilty of something and she can forget about anything other than fake walks in the woods

I have been of the view that She should not be prosecuted anyway, but that everyone around her should be prosecuted, including Mr. Bill. Pardoning Mrs Bill just ratifies her criminality which would not be a bad thing. We are in trouble if he grants a blanket pardon to the whole Clinton political apparatus. If he were to do it that way then the left would claim, successfully for liberal and Democrat voters, that he was protecting them from vicious and unwarranted pro/per/secution that was sure to come from the fascistnazi Trump.
He can only empty FEDERAL Prisons (20k inmates).
I bet he will free all the "oppressed minorities" in federal prison for violent crimes, while leaving white, republican gun owners who didn't pay their taxes on time or missing a block on an ATF from 4473 to rot in prison.
Thanks, and one other thing to keep in mind - Obama campaigned for Hillary as his successor. Pardoning her means he wanted a crook for that role. Realize, to him, everything is about Obama. He dragged the Dem Party down to near oblivion, but he doesn’t care, he got his two terms.
Even if pardoned they can still investigate and question witnesses under the guise of Americans need to know. Once pardoned, they cannot take the fifth as there is no way to incriminate themselves unless they lie under oath.
Right on both accounts. I'm all for the pardon. It would also clear that issue for DJT, so he can focus on turning the US around. I think there's precedent for pardoning hillary before she's charged with anything (Ford did so for Nixon), but the Clinton Foundation can't be pardoned.
Besides that, why risk hillary having a massive physical or mental breakdown during proceedings and have DJT being blamed?
For which crime? Can he pardon her whole existence? For any crime in the past or any crime she may commit in the future?

Obama could write this: "I, the muslim Marxist homo POTUS thus pardon every federal worker for any and all crimes that were employed from 20 JAN 2009 until 20 JAN 2017 with all firearm and voting rights restored".

First, she’d look guilty as Hell if she accepted it - whether it could otherwise be proven that she did something wrong or not. So her reputation would be shredded.
Second, since she could NEVER invoke the 5th Amendment (since she can’t be convicted based on the testimony), she could be compelled to testify about ALL of the sordid details. If she refuses to testify, then she can be jailed for contempt of court or Congress (as the case may be). Further, if she lies AT ALL, then she is guilty of perjury.
IMHO, the best possible thing for us is for her to be pardoned, and to then be called to testify. That is when it would really get interesting.

I think he should do it for many many reasons.
It won’t keep her from facing State Charges. It takes Trump out of it. She will be forever disgraced. So will Obambi. His list just keeps growing.
I’d prefer her not to be pardoned, but if BO gives us that lemon, we can make some pretty decent lemonade out of it.
The investigations of the various activites: Benghazi, the email server, the foundation, Weinergate, etc., will continue.
HRC can no longer plead the 5th amendment, as she is already immunized against self-incrimination. None the less, I see her committing perjury or contempt of Congress/contempt of court for lying or refusing to testify in ensuing cases. These will be new crimes that will have been committed after her pardon, and she will be subject to prosecution for them. I don’t think her ego/hubris will allow her to come clean and spill her guts on all the poor saps around her who weren’t pardoned. But even if I’m wrong, and she does sing like a canary, it will expose all her malfeasance, which is the same thing a successful prosecution of her would do should she not be pardoned.
