I guess you haven’t followed Tulsi Gabbard much. A couple of years ago she was on a lot of news shows harshly condemning 0bola by name for refusing to say “ISLAMIC” terrorism, and his policies. The DNC got really po’ed at her.
Another law to cause an existing law to be enforced. Force the executive branch to implement existing law. You cannot pass additional laws to prevent something that is already illegal. If USG won’t enforce existing law, somebodies need to be put away.
The proper Congress action is defund. Better yet quit funding deep covert, black ops insanity. This whole approach is now one of the biggest problem we have.

Can’t say I have. Never heard of her until this thread.
She is not a typical Dem at all. I think her liberal-eque views may well evolve. She is not a partisan type. The DNC bigwigs had knives out for her, for her very sharp, vocal and numerous criticisms of 0bola in connection with Islamic terrorism.
Something doesn’t smell right. Are they just now bringing such a bill forward? Just in time for the Trump administration?

A bill like this would not have been signed by Obama. So the timing is so that Trump could sign it.

She appears to be a moderate Democrat from Hawaii (Repubs don’t get elected in Hawaii, so you have to run as a Dem).
She resigned from the position as vice-chair of DNC to support Bernie which the Dems are mad about.
