Marco Rubio is back in the thick of it.

The Florida Republican, who reversed his decision to quit the Senate after his losing the GOP presidential nomination, suddenly finds himself at the center of the political intrigue swirling around Donald Trump's nascent administration.

Rubio's tough questioning Wednesday of Rex Tillerson, Trump's pick for secretary of state, and unresolved doubts about the former ExxonMobil chief's nomination, present him with a set of provocative political choices.

You might be right. Most of us have long memories and will never again trust Rubio.
At this point currying favor with the media might be his best bet. I think that would still be a losing strategy. Being a media favorite doesn’t seem like such an advantage in Republican primaries, but once your bridges are burned you have no choice but to move forward.

It’s weird .. but I just never fell for his smirk .. I’ve seen too many people like him in my working life .. and they are all the same .. all talk and no action; worst bosses I ever had.
