President Donald Trump did it his way and Paul Anka will let him know it!
A source close to the (Youre) Having My Baby crooner, 75, told Radar exclusively that he will buck the trend of most singers and perform his song My Way at the Inauguration January 20. . .with lyrics re-written for the incoming Commander-In-Chief!
Paul was asked by the members of the Trump inauguration committee and he was only too happy to do it for his longtime friend, said an Anka insider...
Anka wrote such well-known music as the theme for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and one of Tom Joness biggest hits, Shes a Lady.
He also wrote the English lyrics for Frank Sinatras signature song, My Way, which has been covered by many including Elvis Presley.

Excellent!
I hear heads exploding already.
Hope he doesn’t sing “She’s having my baby” . . . makes me want to puke!!!!
Hope he doesn’t sing “She’s having my baby” . . . makes me want to puke!!!!
He has changed it to She’s having an abortion.
“He has changed it to Shes having an abortion.”
You’re bad . . .
YES!
The most patriotic Arab American.....take that Libs!
Absolutely stunning theme song. What a classic!
Legendary talent.
Worse yet, it’s now “He’s having my baby”...
But now who will follow? Will Sedaka be back?
Neil Sedaka, America’s most effeminate heterosexual, with Wayne Newton a close 2nd.
I’m glad to hear that Paul Anka supports Trump. My question is can he still sing good enough for such an important event? I hope so. Another Paul, as in McCartney is losing much of his upper register singing voice, but is too proud to hire a younger voice to sing those parts for him during a live performance. This may have changed by now.
Yeah, that seems to be the norm nowadays......too sad
LOL.......you are so right
There are, I suspect, quite a number of people who have eexperienced a particular Christian retreat, for whom Paul Anka has a special meaning, though he will probably never know it himself.
I got to see him in concert a few years back, and he is an unbelievable entertainer in person, great showman. His voice was never Sinatra, and it has aged, but who cares he will make a fantastic moment for all of us,cannot wait.
Well, maybe second, behind this guy.
Both Anka and McCartney are losing their voice tone and pitch..
We’ll see how it goes at the Inauguration.
