Barbara Bush and Jenna Bush Hager wrote a warm letter to the Obamas' daughters, Malia and Sasha, cheering them on as they begin the next step in their lives after spending eight years in the White House.
"Now you are about to join another rarified club, one of former First Children a position you didnt seek and one with no guidelines. But you have so much to look forward to," wrote the Bush sisters in a Time magazine op-ed published on Thursday.
"You will be writing the story of your lives, beyond the shadow of your famous parents, yet you will always carry with you the experiences of the past eight years,"
In their letter, the Bush twins recalled the warm memories of their own childhood and their experience growing up in the White House.
"The four of us wandered the majestic halls of the house you had no choice but to move in to. When you slid down the banister of the solarium, just as we had done as 8-year-olds and again as 20-year-olds chasing our youth, your joy and laughter were contagious," they wrote.
The letter also urged the president's daughters to look past the harsh criticism of their parents and the immense pressure that comes with being in the first family.
"You have lived through the unbelievable pressure of the White House. You have listened to harsh criticism of your parents by people who had never even met them. You stood by as your precious parents were reduced to headlines," the Bush sisters said. "Your parents, who put you first and who not only showed you but gave you the world. As always, they will be rooting for you as you begin your next chapter. And so will we."

So it wasn’t really a letter to Obama’s offspring...It was a letter to a magazine...
After 8 years of government employment, she will be pulling down over $150K per year on government retirement benefits for the rest of her life.
>>Barron does not need letters <<
It is not about him. It is about the obozo whelps and how they were raised.
Say what you will about Bush, but the man exuded class, and obviously brought his kids up right (despite them being normal teenagers and kicking their heels up). 180 degrees from the riffraff infesting the WH for the next week.
Probably an invite to Aspen, Colorado where pot is legal.
Bla Bla Bla! I might have cared if ‘W’ hadn’t turned into such a GOPE and a backstabber to boot. I care not a wit for what any of the Bushes say or think.
And you’re talking about taking all four samples from Chelsea, right?
