Wouldn’t say it was Kellyanne’s best interview.... but Cooper looked like a deer in the headlights who twitched and bristled and looked like he was about to explode.

She was kicking his little tushie, which is why he had to break into the entire segment halfway through [At 11:38] to "explain" The Narrative.

Massive FAIL for Anderson "Up The Pooper" Cooper.

I agree totally that it was not one of her better performances. I admire what she has done immensely, but after 15 painful minutes, I would say that she did not make her case that CNN deserved to be lumped with Buzzfeed on this particular issue.

If that's true, why did Anderson Cooper have to break in at 11:38 to "re-establish" the CNN "Narrative"?

He lost, that's why. 😀

It is not a case of me doing better. It looks like in this case that Cooper was correct that CNN had not done specifically what Trump and Conway were accusing them of doing. At the same time, my observation of comments flying across the Internet certainly gave the impression, wrongly, that both CNN and Buzzfeed were presenting the same material. Sometimes it is better to retreat than to continue fighting for a losing proposition.

As I pointed out, when Anderson Cooper edited the interview at 11:38 to "re-direct" Kellyanne's stout defense, he lost the argument.

It was an uncontested interjection of CNN's "talking points", and so he lost.

CNN will be cowed somewhat moving forward. They might have "squeaked" out of this one, but now they're going to be terrified of being isolated.

If CNN establishes a pattern of overstepping the bounds of fair journalism, to the extent of exceeding even the behavior of the other networks, they know they'll go down the drain, with the ill wishes of the White House and the People.

President Trump is going to convince a lot of the People, of all colors, to join this movement. And so are we. They don't call it the bully pulpit for nothing...

That was my thought also. All I heard him use were weasel words. He never did, that I heard answer Kelly Anne. He just went over the same talking points again and again. Turned him off before they were through. Only Never Trumpers and Democrats think that he bested Kelly Anne.
