The bastard is clueless. It’s this type of ignorance that go us in this mess to begin with.
There are several action the US can take short of going to war, and the Chinese will swallow their pride and accept them and move off those islands.
I would start with 100 IRBMs with nukes in Japan, Korea and the Philippines. And back it up with 5 squadrons of F-15 and F-22 in Japan and PI. AND a permanent US Navy Patrol.
That would spark a 21st-century version of the Cuban missile crisis.
